I sometimes will get 3 to 5 boners during the day. They usually come at the most inconvenient time, like at school or on the school bus. The worst is getting them in the showers in PE. That can get real embarrassing too. I don't think there is really much you can do about getting them, at least, while you are still in puberty.

It's been a while since I had random erections reliably, every once in a while it'll happen if I'm in a bumpy car ride or something, but when it was more common there didn't need to be a reason. Just an errant thought of something vaguely arousing or some stray hormone molecules and I'd get hard. It eventually goes away and your penis becomes a little more manageable.
