Unfair Mother

I think this is a weird situation but am curious to know what you all think...I have an 18 year old girl friend who I sometimes visit and occasionally stay the night. She has a 17 year old brother. Anyway, their parents are divorced so they live with their mom. My GF is allowed to walk around the house in her panties (sometimes a thong) and a very thin top that doesn't cover her ass and that's ok with her mom however, her brother IS NOT allowed to walk around the house in his very modest boxers and a tank top. According to his mother, he should be "decently covered" at all times whether company is visiting or not. I think that's not only unfair, but weird. Why is it OK for my GF to walk around in skimpy panties and she even sometimes doesn't even bother putting on top while she's starting to get dressed, but her brother must be dressed at all times once he wakes up? What do you think? Is this fair treatment by their mom? Now, out of respect, when I spend the night, I always wear a long t-shirt over my panties or modest PJ's since I'm not family.

That makes no sense at all to me. It's actually very discriminatory if he's more modest than she is and that still doesn't suit the mom.

I'd expect exactly the opposite from most mothers, that she wouldn't allow the girl to wear a skimpy thong in front of her brother at any time.

I think thats pretty weird the male is the one being forced to be covered up. In my country, its always the woman who is slut shamed or asked to be decent. I find it refreshing that the reverse is happening but I do agree with you that it is kinda unfair to the brother despite it being something that breaks barriers.

Its a cruel double standard and its not fair at all. It seems mom is favoring the daughter over the son in this situation, but its her house and her rules.

I think it's a little unfair too. If she's allowed to wear that how come he's not allowed wearing boxers? If they close in the front then that is the big thing because maybe that's what she's worried about? some of my brothers or dads boxers dont quite close properly lol

Obviously the mom thinks there is either something to be feared about a nude male or can't deal with it herself.

Usually in non nudist homes I've found it to be the opposite. I've been to friends houses where the girls all cover up to some degree but nobody bats and eye if brother or dad are nude.

That's a point I haven't thought of. When my friends stay at their Dad's house, the Dad doesn't impose such rules and they are allowed to wear what's comfortable for them. Their Dad had a really nice and large home so sometimes I spend the night with my GF at her Dad's. I am still respectful and make sure I have a long T-shirt on over my panties but when we lay out by the pool we usually have pretty small bikinis on and the Dad doesn't take issue with that. I wish their Mom would loosen up on my GF's brother. He's a very nice and respectful boy and Boxers and a tank top or T-shirt should be very acceptable especially first thing in the morning unless he's sporting a morning boner...then, out of modesty, I'd expect he would want to cover it up.

The Mom might be passing on she is piss about the Dad that is gone. I really can't say much due to I was in so many group homes and shelters where we always had to be covered.

Does it bother you to see your brother erect? I don't think guys can help it most times...especially in the morning when they first wake up.
