Question about penis colors

I have showered with my boyfriend before and I have always wondered me for example why I have brown skin and I am of hispanic ancestry yet my penis is black. Same with boyfriend he is also of hispanic ancestry yet his penis is a shade darker than him. Why is that.

I know both of us are uncircumcised but still why are our privates different color from our bodies.

Essentially, sex hormones like testosterone and oestrogen have the side effect of spurring melanin production so areas with high concentration of them such as the penis/vaginal folds can sometimes naturally darken during puberty.

Well that is the scientific way of explaining it. Almost every guy reguard of race have daker priacte part than the skin. Other than extremely pale guy but still little bit darker too

Yeah, its the norm in males to have the color of their genitals be darker than the rest of their skin tone. Like others have said, it's probably due to hormones, but I bet the raised amount of blood vessels and nerve tissue in those areas also add a tinge to the skin, possibly making them slightly darker as well.

I'm a lighter skinned asian and I too have darker coloured genitals. It didn't bother my female sexual partners though but maybe thats a different issue as that was not the focus when they see it.

I think it happens to protect your genitals from the sun since darker colors means you have more melanin which protects against UV rays to some extent.

My willy is a bit darker than the rest of my body too. Except the part between the head and the circumcision scar which is kind of light pink

One’s penis is darker than the rest of their body because testosterone produces melanocytes thus darkening the skin. Naturally there’s a lot of testosterone production in that general area

i have white skin, which gets good tans. My penis is a little darker in color i think, especially the ring about 2 inches from the head. And my ball sac is a little darker too, it just started getting like that.

Everyone's penis is darker than their normal skin. It'sjust a different amount darker for differnet people.
