I have a friend who told me and a couple others in our group chat about an idea they had for something they want to sell. I voiced my thoughts on the matter, trying to tell them what I thought they’d probably need to do first (like get permission to use the creator’s creations) and some personal opinions (how I wouldn’t want someone selling something based off of something that I made for free). However, once I voiced these concerns, it just kinda seemed like everyone turned on me, talking about how I don’t know anything about copyright and that morals and my personal opinions shouldn’t matter. So my question here is am I the bad guy? Am I being too negative or pessimistic on their idea? Thanks
