Pathfinder/D&D

Even though these games are usually on paper you can play them online on Roll20 now so I guess here is good too! So...

Does anyone play Pathfinder or D&D or other RPGs? What is your favorite class to play? Favorite race? And do you like a game with more fighting or more role playing and puzzles and stuff?

Also, who got you started playing?

I play and have played both with various groups.
Erm, I don't know, usually drow rogue.
Drow or tiefling.
Depends on the group I play with RP is good, but if no one is into it, there's no point to it. Personally, I like probably a 60:40 balance in favour of RP. When playing DnD 3.5 ed the online character creator wasn't good at correctly calculating your attack bonuses, so my friends and I made our own version of character creation using excel. Took about 3 weeks to sort it out but it was worth it. We also realised how they used exp to balance feats, ability points etc.

The only RPG I’ve played was a forum game my friend/old staff member brought called Roll 2 Dodge. I recreated a game of it when our last one got abandoned but unfortunately it fell off again. I might start up a new game if enough people are interested (it’s in my diary)

But my friend IRL is prettt into RPGs, he loves D&D

Not anymore, he used to be a gd mod with me but left a while back to focus on school and life
