I'm not sure where this post should go so I'll just post it here.

Has anyone ever wanted to die just to see what life is like on the other side? I'm not depressed or anything, but sometimes I wonder if it's just eternal darkness or if there's actually an afterlife. If there is an afterlife, is it just paradise or is there a heaven and hell, like so many people believe? I've been thinking about this a lot recently. Sometimes. I want to try it out too, but then I realize that i want to finish a, b, and c first.
I question my religion a lot too, so that could play a part in this.

I wont act on these thoughts ever, but does anyone else think about this too, or do I just have a problem?

Well no I don't think you have a problem as humanity has wondered that for thousands of years. But the chance that an afterlife is just the way you believe it might be is almost comical as there have been hundreds of religions with all their followers believing in different afterlives. And the can't all be right can they?

It is normal to have these thoughts. I've always though what life will be like after i am gone? However, I do not believe in a heaven, a hell or any type of afterlife. We die and the world carries on without us. We will all eventually be forgotten. Our children, grandchildren and friend will be the only ones who remember us. After they pass we will most likely be forgotten.

I agree with @InternetTeen
Simply thinking about suicide is a pretty normal thought as we don’t know about death. So makes us wonder.

But....if you are making a plan to commit suicide, that’s different...
