View Full Version : Masturbation and Bleeding

Hi,

I’ve been masturbating for a little more than a year now and the way I do it is kind of rough. I get into bed with my underwear on and I put tissues on my underwear all around my bulge (to prevent the cum from going on my blanket) and then I stick it into the blanket and wrap the blanket all around. Often I do this without lube and sometimes it hurts a little afterwards. I’ve always had this worry in the back of mind that one day it might bleed. But I didn’t think there was much to this. Occasionally it does look red though afterwards (in some places).

Anyway, today after masturbating I looked at the tissue and noticed it was a little red in one place and its getting me a little worried. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know something about this?

Thank you!

That’s not normal. You should see a doctor.

Hasn't happened to me as I don't masturbate that way - but it's pretty obvious that it's simply due to the way that you masturbate. Just wash down there well when you shower to make sure if there is any small cut/scrape/whatever you got from all the excessive friction doesn't get infected. My advice would be to find a different way to masturbate looking forward or otherwise to do it less frequently.

But I wouldn't worry too much at this point in time (in terms of seeking medical attention). That said, if you are really that worried, then go see a doctor or bring it up at your next checkup/physical. though in your place I wouldn't go to a doc just on that observation.

You’re clearly irritating the skin too much and essentially giving yourself severe rugburn. It will keep bleeding if you keep going that rough. It would be a lot safer to just do it the ‘usual’ way

Yeh any blood around any dick isn't a good thing at all - to be on the safe side, I'd say you should stop doing that and there's no harm in seeing a doctor in case its not related to that.

Are you sure that didn't come from I dont know rubbing your dick with the blanket or something? Better get that checked out I dont know how i will explain that to the doctor though.

Are you circumcised? Could be a factor in needing/not needing lube

Stop using the blanket or anything
else that will cause u an irritation.
If u get sore or start to bleed then
u r too rough. Start using lube and
ur hand.

You should probably talk to someone about that

For me, whether to see a doctor depends on where the blood is coming from. If you had blood in your semen then consulting a doctor would be wise but it sounds like it is more a case of having grazed the skin or your penis through excessive friction in which case there is no more need to see a doctor for that than for having grazed your knee. Just make sure it's clean and then remove the cause, i.e. the excessive friction, while it heals.

Once it has healed try to find a way of masturbating that doesn't generate so much friction. Lube and your hand would be a better proposition. If you really want a way that allows you to hump, a proper toy (e.g. fleshlight) or a better improvisation that allows the use of some lube would be the way to go.

It's happened to me a few times. For me, I think I'm circumcised "tight" meaning I have very little loose skin on my penis when I'm erect. Masturbating "dry" (without any lube) for me risks rubbing the skin too rough, and I think that's exactly what you are doing. Your technique is rubbing the skin on your penis too rough.
Somebody called it "rug burn", and I'd agree.
I'd avoid this way of masturbating in the future, cuz the irritation and bleeding will keep happening.

I am pretty sure you're just rubbing too hard and the friction is making your sore, which obviously can bleed a little because you've cut a bit of the skin on your penis. And what others have said about you being too dry is also true and part of the problem.

So make sure you're lubricated at bit, just take it easy when you masturbate and I'm certain all will be fine.

To be honest the way you masturbate is not really good
Why not just give it some love with your hand?
If you really like humping something just keep a special pillow cover for that purpose and you can hump that pillow completely nude...I am sure it wouldn't hurt or bleed that way

Be more gentle jesus christ lol. dont hump too hard. obviously its going to be red if your that rough. make sure you dont tear the part that attaches ur foreskin to your penis.

Are you circumcised? Depending on whether or not you are, it could be a tear in the foreskin or perhaps a tear around the frenulum.

Hi,

Anyway, today after masturbating I looked at the tissue and noticed it was a little red in one place and its getting me a little worried. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know something about this?

Thank you!

Yeah, you should try some other strategies because your current one is most likely causing aggravations and abrasions to your penis.

Dude that is not normal. Occasional sore feelings are ok but not bleeding. Like people here said please seek immediate help.
