Why I want to be bullied

I want to be bullied because it is the only place where I fit in at the school.
Before, I had no friends at all.. I couldn’t even make any no matter how hard I tried.
Now with being nerdy and getting bullied, at least I have the bullies to talk to and hangout with. Even though they hang me, I’m still grateful that I at least I get to talk to them. It’s like I finally found a place in school and I belong, and I get to hangout with the cool guys.

I would ask you to think about your interests as well as their interests. What are they doing after graduation? What do you plan on doing after graduation? Do your interests align? Are they people worth being aound? Does their role in your life make you better?

I think developing a thick skin is helpful but being a pushover is not. And if you can take what they throw at you, maybe it will make them have some respect. The nature of it could changes from being easy to pick on, to fun to pick on. Friends bust each others balls a lot, so I'm not saying this won't benefit you. But I would try to see what influence they have on you.

Their interests are football, wrestling and being #1 In the school. My interests are computers and robots so they’re exactly opposite. They just want me around to humiliate me by hanging me by my underwear so they can get a laugh. So I think I’m easy and fun to pick on for them

Those are definitely not people you want in your life. The bullies are having fun because you are getting hurt. If you do not have anything in common, why are you hanging out with them? You said that you like when they tease you because the bullies are happy. These are not your friends. They laugh behind your back about how you like the bullying. The bullies are not popular. If they are popular, they are popular for the wrong reasons. It is not cool to bully people. If people do like them, then those people are idiots.

Why are you okay with bullying? I am definitely not trying to be rude, but bullying is never okay. Being bullied is not something you should want. Being bullied doesn’t make you nerdier. That’s just a dumb stereotype. You don’t have to follow the stupid stereotypes. It seems to me that you do believe in these stereotypes, just because you have in your mind that being bullied makes you a nerd. You have in your mind that the bullies all have girlfriends that are with them because they are bad boys. Don’t follow these stereotypes; none of them are 100% true. You can be a nerd without being bullied. You can be smart without being bullied. Have you talked with someone about being this way? Bullying isn’t fun and it definitely isn’t fun when you are the one being bullied.

All of your points are very true. But when I try to fight or avoid them. It never ends up well. I’d try to throw a punch, then they simply lift me off the ground by my tighty whities. From there I can’t do anything and I’m at their mercy.

I just caught up with this and reading from the other thread you posted, this mentality is fucked up.

As a fellow victim of bullying myself learning to twist bullying and accepting things in a Stockholm syndromesque manner is not healthy. I never had this mentality when I was being bullied and it gave me some acceptance issues related to anxiety.

Like you I became and extreme people pleaser and when given the chance I will work myself to death to gain the favour and liking of others as long as they give me attention.

Its exactly why I asked to be banned from this site for one month. I will write a detailed post when I have time but the most unhealthy aspects of bullying I experienced were the extreme tendencies to justify certain behaviour which is obviously the case here.

I kinda get what you are going through as I just went through this recently in a different manner. But as a compatriot in this type of suffering I am telling you now stop this behaviour immediately. It is not healthy. You will only hurt yourself if you continue to seek the approval of other people at your expense.

Dude I mean this in the most loving and supporting way but please seek professional help. I did and I feel so much better for it.

Seriously you made 3 posts about this topic and one of them (the owning who I am one) contradicts exactly what you are saying here. You said you want to own who you are but here you seemed resigned in all this bullying.

There is nothing therapeutic about the bullying you are experiencing. In fact, posting it here and justifying it to each and every poster seems like a call for help. The writings are on the wall like Destiny's Child said its glaringly obvious you are justifying all of this BS to prove something to someone especially yourself.

It’s not that small, the population is about 2,000 people. But it is a very rural area

That is their entertainment. If you’re on the robotics team and wear tighty whities, they will find find you and hang you by them so they can laugh.

Well i don't know coz here its pretty much as rural as it gets and people just brandish their guns or punch you if they don't like you. I've been following this interesting saga for a few weeks now and I'm not sure fi you should fight back or talk to someone. You seem to have second thoughts on what you want to do.

That’s exactly what these guys are like. Tough as hell and they mean business. The hanging is for their entertainment but also to show us that they mean business and we should do as we are told. That’s why we follow their rules, and do what they say like helping with homework or in tests

I do not get any sexual pleasure from it. But I do get a feeling of belonging to a specific group and that I have a place in the world which is huge to me

I’m glad I finally belong somewhere. Even if I’m hung up and forced to help with homework. It’s not like I can do anything about it anyway, so I might as well get some more nerdy tighty whities like my cars ones and accept the hangings
