I woke up this morning and my left testicle was aching. I had woken up twice before that and then i fell asleep again. It didn't hurt then but when i woke up for the 3rd time i had pain there. It would ache, stop, ache, stop, etc. for about a minute. I then turned onto my side and it stopped. I haven't felt pain since. They do not look swollen or hurt to touch and there are no lumps on them. Walking is fine. What could it be? I will keep updating if anything gets worse.

update: I do not feel any pain at the moment. Only when i think about it. I have heard of a testicular torsion but the pain is meant to be very bad.

I think you should be fine as long as the pain disappears. However, if you have a constant pain in your testicle, then you need to get medical attention immediately. If your pain comes and goes, then you can still be checked out, but your issue may not be urgent.

Thanks for the response. I'm just worried that i have testicular torsion which means your testicle can be removed. I'm praying that's not the case. I'll wait a little longer to see if there's any pain.

No you don't have a testicular torsion. The pain doesn't go away for that. For me I had some testicle problems when I was a kid. The testicle used to twist inside the sac causing me a lot of pain. Doctors told me that anyone should go to the doctor for any type of testicle pain that happens randomly. That means there could be an infection or something like what I had down there.

Since the pain comes and goes without your knowing why I would DEFINITELY recommend going to the doctor.

You may have twisted them in your sleep or some other thing. I am sure it's just a temporary thing. If it gets worse or continues for a few days then I would see your doctor.

Ok thanks. My parents suggested that it was growing pains. I will wait a little bit and if it gets worse or doesn't go i will go to the doctors

Thanks. I think it could be blue balls. I haven't wanked in 4 days now so it could just be blueballs.

Why don't you masturbate then and test it out?

That happened to me when I wore bikini briefs that cut out circulation to my testicle. it was super sore I couldn't get hard the next day.

I can still get hard though. I feel like it may just be blue balls as I haven’t wanked in like 5 days.

If thats the case I guess you should maybe have it checked out. When I gained a lot of weight both the pants and type of underwear restricting my balls caused me pain similar to what you experienced. The results are usually just me losing interest in sex due to the pain and not getting hard.

I don't know what your problem could be coz mine was easy enough to determine.

Trust me, you do not have testicular torsion because that would be a sharp, intense pain that does not go away. You would not be able to walk straight if you had testicular torsion. In your case, you might just be going through growing pains or may have sat the wrong way or did something to irritate your testicles. I think you're fine, but if you continue to have pain, then check things out with your doctor. Get your parents involved because there is no shame in talking about your body.

I have. They suggested growing pains. It could also be blue balls. I am not really feeling any pain anymore though. Thanks :)

I'm fifteen now, and when I was 13-14 I had occasionally aches (rather than acute pains) in my testicles. They have completely gone now, and I can only guess they were down to two reasons:

1. Masturbating to orgasm too often.
2. General discomfort and aching due to changes during puberty.

I'm not suggesting you forget about them. In fact if they get more frequent or more painful I think you should see your doctor. But I am fairly certain there's nothing at all wrong which time won't solve.

Good luck.

sometimes mine ache for what seems like no reason, it could be because you hit them ever so gently in the right place, but idk, along as it isn't a strong ache it should be ok
