i really love sleeping naked, as i find it's so comfortable and empowering.

however, in my family (three little sisters) everyone tends to barge into each other's bedrooms at night, depending if they're feeling sick, had a nightmare, etc. my parents also do this. i don't exactly feel comfortable with the thought of someone walking in on me naked - what are your thoughts?

I love sleeping naked for the same reasons, although the longer I've been doing it, the more it's about comfort. But it did feel very empowering when I first started doing it.

In my situation, I live in a crazy household, so I've simply gotten used to being seen naked and vice versa, and I don't mind. But if it really bothers you, you could try telling your parents that you need more privacy because you're getting older. They should respect that, even (or especially) the really conservative ones.

I'm an only child so I don't have your issues. Personally I use a t shirt and panties mainly, although I have slept in the buff on a few occasions. I probably prefer something on even if it's thin

I understand what you mean. I sleep naked sometimes too but luckily everyone knocks before they come in. I'm ok if my sister sees me naked but it would be weird for my parents to see me.

My family are naturists/nudists and I've grown up rarely wearing anything at all in the house or back yard when it's warm enough to be comfortable naked. So it never bothered me at all if anyone saw me naked.

In your situation, if you really like being naked when you sleep, I think since it's your room you should have every right to do that. I think you should find a time when everyone is calm and no issues going on, and politely tell your parents that you will be sleeping naked as you like doing that, and ask if they see a need to set a rule about knocking before entering. Perhaps you could tell everyone in the family that you'll use a signal to let them know you want them to knock before entering.

In my family if we have a boyfriend or girlfriend in our bedroom and are having sex, we put a scrunchie on the doorknob as a signal that we want privacy, and it's totally respected by others in the family. Nothing else needs to be said or done. Could you use something like that to let your family know to knock before entering?

Hopefully you can learn to be comfortable being seen naked by your sisters and mom especially, if they see you naked it shouldn't be any big deal since you are all girls. Simply being naked never equals being sexual, in any way. You are just naked, and comfortable in your own skin.

I agree with Katie2003 to make it a rule, together with your parents, that one should knock before they enter your (or any) room. You don't even have to say you sleep naked. You can also tell them, if they ask, that you value your privacy or that you are rested better when left alone in your room.

I also sleep with a long t-shirt and panties, or a thin night gown in summer and heavy pajamas in the winter. I never sleep naked as i have a little brother that barges in the middle of the night. I prefer to use night clothes in case of a fire.

Sometimes I sleep nude but even if I wear panties, I never wear a top. Sometimes my little brother runs into my room in the middle of the night after a bad dream and of course his little arms and hands go right to my boobs to hold onto. I think it's best that family members do see others in the family naked once in a while, that way they accept it as being OK and no one is feeling embarrassed or that they have something to hide if it happens. Sleeping naked is a perfectly valid decision. :)

That was an issue for me as well, for that reason I would wear panties and a pad during my periods. Later on when I became comfortable inserting tampons I was able to find one that doesn't become soaked and start to leak if left in overnight.
