Physical with dad

Today I got a sports physical with my dad.. and I mean we were both getting examined.. genital exam and all.. has this happened with anyone else?

This seems unusual and never heard of it. During my physical the doctor when he examined genitals etc. asked my father to wait in the waiting room.

I've never had a physical with another person. But they've never asked either my parents to step out of the room when they do the genital exam

Nope, never had a physical done WITH my dad, that would just be awkward.

My Dad is a doctor. He says that a lot stuff
depends. Sometimes a parent wants to b in
on the physical and sometimes a teen wants
their parent to b there. It depends on how
comfortable a teen is with it. I would say any
one over 15 needs their privacy.

When we were younger, my little brother and I would get physicals together with my mom in the room but that was way before puberty. Now we go it alone. And never got examined with my dad either.

Last time dad was in on my physical was when i was 11 i think, maybe 10. He waits in the waiting room,

Have my physical next week, i will drive myself there. Doc asks me if its OK to inform dad of the results of the physical.

I just had a physical last Friday for some insurance thing from one of my dad's job. It was not done TOGETHER. The accredited clinic had multiple doctor's so we did it about the same time SEPARATELY. I even had the option to have fertility tested which I did. Its gonna be awkward of course if I had done this with my dad. Also, from before if either parent was on the physical they just watched but that was when I was a kid.

That seems odd. Did you dad ask for that? I was told that usually doctors would examine the child alone to ask questions and allow the kid to ask questions.

The most I’ve ever done with my dad was he was present in the room for my physicals before puberty. But during puberty, he stays out of the room because me and my brother are butt naked.

I get a few physical during the year, usually for sports and school. I never had 1 with anyone else in the exam room with me. Mine are always done by the doctor alone and my mom waits for me outside in the doctor's office.

The title led me to believe you were getting physical with your dad which would have been a lot worse of a situation than this, phew

No it seems a bit strange to me. I have been going for physicals by myself since I was 11. And when mom or dad did take me to the doctor they were never examined along with me.
