I often have destructive and suicidal thoughts, especially at night when im alone in my room. Im always irritated or mad at something and recently it has effected my friendships greatly. Im continuously fighting with my best friends. The only way ive been able to get rid of these tendencies is by smoking weed. I just get really high and all of these things just go away. At this point im just high 24/7. I know this habbit is bad for me and is the completely wrong way to handle it but i cant find another way to fix it.

NYK9250 welcome to the site!

Getting high is just a quick fix and won't solve anything in the long run, which I'm sure you already know. Instead, you should confront the things that are making you depressed and angry. Have you tried going to a therapist or talking to someone you know and trust? Have you approached your friends and tried to civilly work out whatever is causing your fights so the fights will stop? If not, I encourage you to. You can get help and make your situation better; I believe you have that in you. Just put down your joint, think about everything with a clear mind, and be honest with yourself about where you are now and what you really need to be doing to improve your situation. I hope being on this site will give you a sense of comfort - we all care about your well-being.

I do just the same, but use coffeine instead of weed. I hope you understand it is a real drug, you need real support from someone. Parents may be or elder friends, teachers?
