Do your parents have social media accounts?

My mom is not into social media, but my dad sure is. He's always loved taking photos and he used to post travel blogs. He has an Instagram and posts a lot of photos, including many of me. Thankfully it's really just family and his friends who follow it, I don't think even most of my friends know he has an account, but it would be a little embarrassing if they did. :P

Dad does not and thinks they are the work of Satan, as well as the entire internet. Mom has one associated with her work, but doesn't have one for family or friends. My big sis has one under a different name than her own, just to check up on what her friends are doing. I'm still not allowed to have them.

My parents have Facebook and Instagram. My mom uses them a lot, my dad not as much, and I think they are both more active on social media than I am :lol:

Thank God my parents do not do social media.
If my parents were on social media I would be in so much trouble. I'm not allowed to have any kind of social media so if they were and they would find out that I have it. I don't even think that they would be OK with me being on here

I don't have any family members on any of my social media. Just friends.

My dad isn't into it at all, and mum is too busy talking about our lives to her friends, I guess she wouldn't have enough time to repeat all that on social networks :lol:

A friend of mine has 2 accounts : one official (and soft) that she knows her parents will check, and one with her name slightly modified, with everything she doesn't want her parents to see :lol:

Dalcourt when you have already posted, how do you quote another user in the same message ? How do you multi quote when the second message you want to quote is on 2 or 3 pages later ? All this using the phone...

my parents have both accounts and monitor mine as well (they have my passwords for facebook, skype, ig, xbox and playstation). they haven't checked them in a while as far as i know but could whenever they want to. when i was younger, they looked at everything including my friends all the time, like once a week at least

My Grandpa is also on Facebook, both for his business, and personalty,

On Grandpa personal page he post like once a week to something. Mostly its "likes" Stuff, not much posting or commenting.

Part of the deal I had to make with my Dad to move in with his family ALL my social media accounts had to be removed. My cell is a flip phone, I have no facebook or any other accounts like it. He just gave me my own laptop. It is a Toughbook CF-19. I have found out the hard way that social media can be just evil.

You're damn right... Tough arguments, insults to teachers, bullying... I kept my fb account for barely 3 months
