So as a adult i wanna really give nudism a shot. But there are a few things im worried about...
A.) my familys judgement...
B.) what will my future gf think?
C.) i sometimes get random hard-ons >///< Also my first time being around other nudists may be a little hard as i may get um... Hard >///< how should i hide it?
P.S. I in no way wanna become a nudist for sexual reasons. I brought up the sexual part due to the fact i wouldn't be used to seeing others nude. It would take awhile to get used to. Do the math folks -_-
Anyway nudist life seem more comfortable and free. So im debating what to do.

I understand. I'm 16, and maybe I'd call myself a "closet nudist". When I'm alone I enjoy being nude; reading, relaxing, doing chores around the apartment, etc. It just feels so free and relaxing and natural, and it's not a sexual arousal thing either. But nobody knows I do this, especially not even my mom. I've never been nude (as nudists) with others. (I've been naked with other guys in the showers, and with guys and girls 2 times skinnydipping, but that's all.)
I have no advice, just support. I understand your feelings. I'm the same.

That means a lot thank you!

When I am alone I am sometimes naked and love the felling but even with family around I normally wear just underwear.

I’m naked as much as possible, I sometime get naked in the garden but I do get an erection so I think getting nude in front of other nudists would defo get me hard as well

I've been raised in the naturist/nudist lifestyle and my family rarely wears any clothing at home or in the yard when it's warm enough not to. We have also attended many naturist resorts and nude beaches.
If you want the experience you should go for it but you need to be aware of several things. None of the resorts I am aware of will allow single males to enter. You have to be part of a family, or bring a female with you. Erections might happen but are not allowed to remain visible, everyone carries a small towel with them to sit on. If a boy has an erection he's expected to use that towel to cover himself with, or go to an area where there are very few people around. If anything that the people in charge feel is inappropriate happens, you will be escorted out the gate and never allowed to return.
Nude beaches generally aren't supervised. You just show up, find a place to remove your clothes, and join everyone else who is there. But the rule about erections still applies and you are expected not to walk around with one. Once you've been there a while, I expect that shouldn't be any problem for you.
Most people say that within less than half an hour, they forget about being naked and focus on having fun doing what others around them are doing.
All families have different values, so you should have a basic discussion with your parents first and see where they stand. A future girlfriend shouldn't care if you have been a nudist, as it's totally not sexual, and sexual activity or physical contact is prohibited at the resorts. The only thing you are allowed to do is shake hands with strangers, or a quick touch somewhere like the shoulder. Otherwise it's hands off unless the other person says it's OK for you to do something like rub sunscreen on their back, or hug them. Physical contact between family members is permissible, and little kids sit on parents laps or pile on an older sibling.

You can bring a hat and use it to cover your boner. Small towel is also good.
For question a and b. That is completely alright if you doing it in appropriate way.

Hiding a boner when u r nude is
"hard". Idk if u try and hide it with
ur hand I don't think that would help.
If u really want to get into it then try
it out and once u get comfortable then
boners wont matter. Ur girlfriend or ur
parents needn't know unless u want to
encourage them to do so also.

A.) my familys judgement... That's a tough one, it may be best to remain a closet/private nudist until you're a little more independent in the world, it can be kind of an alien viewpoint for people to wrap their heads around.
B.) what will my future gf think? You worry about yourself first, You shouldn't have to change or feel uncomfortable about yourself with anybody who is in your circle of friends, let alone someone like an intimate partner.
C.) i sometimes get random hard-ons >///< Also my first time being around other nudists may be a little hard as i may get um... Hard >///< how should i hide it? Those will often decrease with time, it's just hormones in your body right now. Eventually your brain and body will begin too catch up with each other and be able to differentiate a sexual and platonic nude situation.

I think it will be different than you think. Should be no problem at all.
Somehow, from my own experience at huge family nude camp with lots of pretty teen girls nude everywhere, boys do not get erection there at the pool or on the beach. I have not seen it personally. I think such mass nudity is asexual and also... boys simply masturbate a lot, so they don't have the problem at the pool.
This is the wonderful camp Valalta in Croatia I was talking about.
Go there with your parents. You will love Valalta nudism experience :)
It is a 7000 people camping for families and teens (single men are now allowed to the camping. Only couples and families and women)

Katie, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of this terrific information!
I unfortunately know that my mom (who I live with, parents are divorced) would NEVER consider going to a nude beach or resort, as much as I would love to try it out.
Maybe, once I'm 18+, I'll find a gf equally as interested and we'd both give it a try. I bet once we experienced naturism we'd love it.

I think I might have recruited a nudist yesterday!
A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to come help him paint his bedroom and I said ok. It was sweltering hot in his room and I was sweating like crazy. (And he was home alone, so there was just the 2 of us in the house.) I took my shirt off but was still hot, and when I'm by myself I enjoy doing work completely nude. I told him I was so hot I would be more comfortable just stripping naked and painting. He told me to do whatever I wanted to. He didn't care. I think he was shocked when I actually took off my shorts and underpants and then just continued to paint. I explained to him how I enjoy being nude and working, and that it's not a sexual thing. I urged him to try it, and eventually he DID. So we finished painting his room, both buck naked. And nothing sexual took place between us. (It never has, either.)

my experience has been different. single guys have always been welcome. never seen a guy ever get hard, not even once.
i have never seen anything 'inappropriate' happen. the only thing i've heard is that people have been banned for taking pictures without asking permission first. its a pretty important rule. most people don't take pictures anyway because they know its extremely rude to take pictures of people without permission.

... On places you'd better not get one :D
BUT :
What's the point of living naked? I mean during the day I dont even think about the fact that I have clothes on, are u uncomfortable wearing them? Why would you want to take them off?

Sometimes I can’t wait to get them off
As soon as we get home from school etc
It’s natural and you feel your surroundings so much more
