I came across this maybe six months ago and I'm totally hooked now. I guess its popular in America but does anyone else watch this?

My brother used to watch it all the time. I've never sat down and watched a full episode or anything but I've heard some of the bits and it's actually really hilarious.

I used to watch it but somewhere around the sixth season because there was nothing new happening and they just made up problems.

I really like the show. I never watch the current episodes but old ones are always on so I try to catch up on those. It's pretty funny.

I've seen it and sometimes it's funny but other times too far fetched for me. I like Friends and Seinfeld better for comedy.

it seems to me that TBBT is patterned after a comic strip format. there is larger story arc in the episode, but each scene stands alone by itself as comedy sketch (daily comic), which plays back into the larger story.

I LOVE science, but I just can't watch sitcoms in general. I have a very difficult sense of humor.

I can't stand it. The jokes just do not land at all for me. So many of the "jokes" seem to just be references to vaguely nerdy things (i.e. but stuff that 90% of the population will understand the reference to) which I just don't find funny. I'm also turned off by laugh tracks. I think there are much smarter or better written sitcoms - The Simpsons (well, the earlier seasons), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Peep Show, etc.

I’ve seen a few episodes and I may go back and watch some more eventually, if I have nothing else to watch. It’s good but it’s not amazingly funny to me.

It's great, the seasons get progressively worse as they go on though, but I am hooked.

I liked most of the episodes. I thought the earlier seasons were a lot more funny than the last couple seasons.

I never really watched the show. But I found it interesting that some of the main actors in starred in the 1990s Roseanne series and reappeared in the so-called 10th season of Roseanne, but after the early dodgy end of the season, remained in the new show "The Conners".

Like I said, I'm not a real fan of TBBT, but I like watching its spin-off prequel "Young Sheldon" now and then, which is currently renewed for its third and fourth season.
