View Full Version : Hyperspermia

I’m certain I have hyperspermia, which means ejaculating an abnormal amount. I’ve read average amount of ejaculate is 2-5ML and I’ve measured mine and it’s about 20ML on average.
Does anyone else have hyperspermia? How much do you cum? Is hyperspermia rare / is it a new term for you?

Did u check with a doctor? That is a large
amount to discharge. Are u taking any kind
of drugs for some other problem? Certain
medications might cause an increase in
semen. To b sure c a doctor and c what
he says.

No, I do however know I certainly exceed the threshold and I’m not on any medication, although I did recently finish college which was quite stressful (Autistic). I doubt reduced stress would cause something like that to happen.

I don’t think there’s any need, and it’d be quite embarrassing.

What's the problem?

Must admit that i've never heard of this condition. I wouldn't think that ejaculating a large amount would be a bad thing but you can always ask a doc if you think its an issue.

I had heard of this but didn't know anything else about it. From a quick search it seems it can be associated with reduced fertility but isn't linked with any other health problems.
With the reduced fertility, at a guess I would say this is probably the thing where cells need the liquid they exist in to have a certain range of concentration. Too concentrated and it sucks the water out of the cells causing them to shrivel up and too dilute and the cells absorb too much water until eventually they burst. This certain applies to the blood which is why your body carefully regulates how concentrated your blood is by controlling how much urine you produce and therefore why your urine is more concentrated, and therefore a stronger colour, when you have been drinking less or sweating more and more dilute when you have plenty to drink.
But, being gay, that may not be a concern anyway so there is probably no need to rusg off to the doctor unless you particularly want to.

If you feel its a problem then I would consult a doctor, but I dont see exactly what the problem. Some guys produce more than others and thats just normal.

Yeah, I know there’s a chance of lower fertility, but as someone else said, as I can gay, it probably won’t cause any issues and apart from clean up I’m fine with it.

I heard and did research on this topic actually a couple years back, however, I was trying to trigger the reaction of it, like activate it in my body. lol I wouldn't say I succeeded, not completely. It was linked to taking certain supplements to change the volume of semen secreted. But that doesn't affect the amount of sperm.
Unless you are scared of a partner freaking out about it (which truly, it's not a negative thing to watch I'm sure) I wouldn't consider it a medical problem if I was in your shoes. That is if it doesn't ruin your life waking up in the morning to find a soaked puddle on your bedsheets. So it all depends on how you feel about it. It's not really gonna hinder your health though from what I understand. Feel free to ask me anything too and I'll share what I do know. I did quit my project of research on it cause I got what I wanted, at least partly, and didn't want to keep spending money on supplements that often were failing except for a couple.
Cheers though!

I don’t have this (well at least I think I don’t) I cum enough to fill around half a shot glass and hyperspermia is a new term for me but look now my knowledge is expended

A decent amount, but I'm sure you can agree it also depends on how long you edge, how aroused you are, how long had it been since your last cumming session, and how much water you drink. :D Can't make semen without water

Hahaha yeah I totally agree like if you don’t jerk off for like a week before I’ll produce so much more. And I never actually knew about the water thing I best get drinking

Your profile says that you're 17, so I may be wrong but there's a good chance you haven't had sex with a girl yet. I'd STRONGLY recommend practicing a few times ejaculating with a condom on so you know how to put it on leaving much extra space to catch all the cum without it leaking out. Also, when you have sex with girl and you're not using a condom I'd recommend making sure there is a towel under the two of you because you are very likely to overflow her vagina and it will be REALLY messy.

Erm, I’m gay. So that doesn’t really apply.

With the water thing I don't think you can increase the quantity beyond what your body would normally produce by drinking gallons of water. That would just mean you'd have to pee more often. It's more about not becoming dehydrated because if your body is short of water one of the ways it will conserve it is to make less semen.
A good test of hydratation is pee colour. Pale yellow is fine, dark yellow you should be drinking more.
Erm, I’m gay. So that doesn’t really apply.
Not overflowing a vagina, but condom use can still be relevant to gay sex, surely, as condoms are anti-STI and not just for preventing pregnancy. So the suggestion of practicing putting on a condom and leaving enough room in the tip is a good one.

I’ve already practiced :)

I wouldn’t recommend everyone try to trigger this I mean hyperspermia is not without health concerns. The condition can negatively affect fertility so if you wish to have children someday you risk impacting your chances of doing so

The thing is to do some research first.
As an example, there are those that advocate avoiding tight underwear because they say these defeats the body's natural mechnaism for allowing the testicles to cool when too hot by limiting how much they can hang. Consequently, they say, the testicles may be warmer than their ideal temperature and thus sperm produvtion is impaired.
As far as I can see, though, no one has suggested this does any permanent damage so until you are ready to become a dad you can ignore this and just wear what you find comfortable; when you're having a wank or having protected sex it really doesn't matter how many sperm are in your loads. Even when you are ready you can only start to concern yourself with such things if it isn't happening anyway.
So with supplements to increase semen volume you want to find out if the increase is temporary or permanent. It seems to me much more likely that it would be temporary and things would return to normal as soon as you stop taking the suppliments, in which case there is no harm, but it is as well to find out.
Of course, that doesn't eastablish whether the result is worth the cost and the need to add something to your routine - only you can tell that.

This is accurate, in my tests the "triggering" wasn't permanent and only temporary pleasurable. It mostly only increased semen volume due to supplements from herbs you could buy from Amazon (even some from Walmart) but about a week or 2 after stopping them, the results would fade away pretty fast to a normal consistency. Semen has vitamins and helps feed/protect the sperm from the testicles. Sperm is of course the needed element for fertilizing the egg, so long as that remains unaffected you shouldn't experience any fertility problems after the effects wear off. Obviously, you'd want to experiment with good studies (Such as taking sperm count of men in control and non-control groups and see the effects on both.)
Until then, I'll just enjoy the massive increase in semen and precum :D :D

Seem to have a variation with mine, and I don’t take any supplements (probs should though for unrelated reason). Usually I hsve lots of clear cum, but sometimes I can have thick cum but less of it, still above average.

I think that 20 mL is little above average. Converting that to ounces is about ½ ounce of liquid.
