I've just done it for the first time with a boy and it was really good, but I've also been doing toys up my rectum for a long time. Take an enema an hour or two before you start in order to clean the area out, it's much less messy when you've done that. Put an old towel under your butt, just in case. Use a ton of lube and then use some more lube, you can't possibly use too much of it. Liquid lubes are way better than the gel ones I've had.

It works better if you're really relaxed first. If he makes you cum before he tries, either oral or fingering, it'll probably be easier. And I second what Katie said about positions, the one that feels the best for me is spooning... have him like behind you and go really slow.

And use a ton of lube! There's no such thing as too much lube.

My mom jokingly told my older sis that a gallon of lube wasn't too much and you probably don't have enough lube until it's dripping down the walls next to the bed.
