The only thing is my voice started to change, and I have some hairs on the arms and legs, but not "down there"

well, there are many signs to indicate when puberty is starting. for me, it was leg arm and pubic hair! your voice changing is also a factor, and this could suggest that you are hitting. some of the people who say they have gigantic dicks are, indeed, lying, but some people are early hitters and may very well have a huge penis. all i can say is don't worry, it will come soon and you will have a good size, with hair down there. VT is a great place for puberty help, but also ask your parents, teachers and look online.

Any change is a sign, so definitely the voice changing is. And yes basically any size 9within reason) is possible. I'm guessing like 90% of 13 year olds are 4 inches hard give or take a half inch. Another 5% are smaller than 5% and another 5% is greater than 4.5%. (All of those numbers are TOTAL guesses lol, but i bet I'm close. I was probably CLOSE to 6 inches at 13, but not there (maybe 5.5-5.8???). But for every 13 year old who is actually 6 inches, I am guessing there are 50-100 who are lying!!! But a small percentage are out there yes. (But 6 inches is bigger than the average ADULT, so keep that in mind, they are lying or are super freaks!!)

I think puberty started at around 11 but the changes came at 14. I mean it’s probably possible for a 13 year old but I don’t think it’s common.

Things happen at different times for different people. Pubes were first for me after 13 1/2 then a few months after the voice started to crack and is still cracking. I wouldn't believe people's claims about size. A guy on the swim team I am on told us before the season started he had an 8 inch dick. When he was changing and he removed his clothes one of the other guys said where is that 8 inch dick u told us about - did u leave it at home?

Still changing but my voice started to crack at about 11 1/2 and by 12 or so some pubic hair started, but then stopped till I was 13, m penis started to get harder at first then thicker about a year ago. Everyone starts different but it all happens sooner or later

Actually, the first thing that happens with puberty is that your nutsack and nuts start to grow and start hanging much lower. Google "Tanner Stages". It will show you pictures of each stage and what changes.
As far as a 6" willy at 13, some boys mature real young so it's possible, but I think for most boys at 13, a 6-incher would be kinda freaky.

Guys lie about the size of their wang all the time. Not sure why ... ego I suppose. Do what Scott suggested ... once your nuts start hanging lower and getting bigger, your in it. The hair will come when it comes. For me, I was later than a lot of my friends, but I was able to jizz before most of them so it is different for everyone.

yeah and since im the oldest i couldn't just get me hand me downs. So when i shot up in height I had to buy clothes a few sizes bigger especially pant legs always suddenly became shorter.

Puberty starts when your voice changes and you start getting hair and your penis gets bigger and all the other small changes that happen. Now about the size, every boy is different and it could be possible for a boy to have a bigger penis

When I was 11I thought I was starting puberty because my dick grew.
Sadly its been the same 4 3/4 for the last 2 years. I started getting a small patch of pubes at the base of my penis about 2 months ago. So if penis Growth is a sign of starting Then I guess I started 2 years ago at age 11

I'm 13 at six inches. I saw some people saying that would be crazy big and uncomfortable etc. I can say it's not usually uncomfortable but boners show up strongly. I'm about as tall as my mother. I know I'm a bit big for my age and even partially for adults as the average size is around 5 something. But my voice has just started deepening and I got armpit hair a while back. Anyways you might be a little late and I may be a little early but you're still going through the process normally. I guess you could say that the point of this message is that it's different for everyone.

Puberty actually starts in your brain. When it's time to start, the hypothalamus, part of the brain, starts to make a hormone called GnRH (Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonadotropin-releasing_hormone)). That in turn causes the pituitary gland to make two more hormones, LH (Luteinizing hormone (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luteinizing_hormone)) and FSH (Follicle-stimulating hormone (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Follicle-stimulating_hormone)). The names of the last two may seem a bit weird as they are named after their effects in females. In boys LH causes the testicles to start producing testosterone while FSH and testosterone cause the testicles to start producing sperm. All the secondary characteristics, such as hair, voice change, extra muscle mass, broader shoulders, growth spurt etc. happen in response to testosterone.

So the tanner scale is about observable changes and indeed the first observable change will be that the testicles start to get bigger in reponse to FSH/LH. That may not be that obvious, though, so people may become aware of some other change, like pubic hair, first.

Hair growth is very variable. The hair folicles for public, arm pit, facial and body hair all start working in response to testosterone but different people's folicles seem to be more or less sensitive to it and therefore respond more or less quickly and also result in more or less hair once fully developed. A boy who comes from a line of really hairy men would get pubic hair sooner, relative to the non-hair changes, than someone who comes from a line of nearly hairless men with all the variations in between,

So as long as you have seen at least one change, so voice change counts, then that means your testosterone level is up and all the other changes will happen in due course.

There is no doubt that there is some exaggeration going on on here. The average size reported at various ages is consistently above the values to come from proper studies by professional researchers. That doesn't mean everyone is doing it so it is hard to tell one indivdual that he is lying but don't get worried if you don't measure up to a ficticious average.

Well the main changes that indicate puberty are increased hormones, growth in height, penis growth, hair growth, voice depending and spots. You’ll find people your age may be more developed but they may just be going through it quicker, have started earlier or just have developed more in those areas than you have
