I saw there was a hunting thread that got closed because it was over like, two years old. but I wanted to open one for any newer members that hunt. I bow hunt only. No guns , I'm actually really talented with a bow, I can hit pretty accurately from almost 70 yards with my Bear Compound Reflex

We go after wild boar, deer, and during a specific part of the year something called a proghorn
Anyone else hunters

Probably my thread lol.

I am a huge hunter. I use rifle, bow, and shotgun. The idea of spear hunting interests me.

My bow is a Bowtech Insanity CPXL.

I go hunting but just in the ordinary way with my rifle. Mainly deer or small game.

And I do alligator hunting with my family sometimes which is really cool.

I think you can bow hunt actors with the right equipment but I have no experience with that.

love hunting, don't get out shooting as often as I should

just rifle hunt: mostly go after deer & bear then use groundhogs as summertime target practice to keep prepared for hunting season

hope to add elk & moose to my hunting list someday but don't expect that anytime soon

Unfortunatly you have to be 18 and be in hunter community. Rules are very strict and owning a gun in our country is like owning a Lamborgini ...

I’ve done hunting with rifles and shotguns only. Never used a bow. Hunted for various game animals, and cooking it is also a fun and interesting experience.

I hunt out in the woods behind our house with a rifle and shotgun, depending on what season it is. I'm a really good shot, practice with targets too. But that's not uncommon for girls raised in rural areas.

Been hunting before but my dad didn't pick a good spot, we didn't come home with anything good that time.. I hunt squirrels and raccoons in my back yard though, pellet gun is great for that, uses sir to shoot so it's totally legal in the city :D

Why not just do archery if you like bows?

My guess would be he doesn't hunt because he likes bows/archery...I would think bow hunting would be considered more of a clean kill, or more of a challenge than just hunting with a rifle.

Bingo guns seem like a lame way out

To be honest this all sounds odd to me. Not saying wrong but odd. I live in a city where the only gun use is by criminals.

Hunting isn't all too common in the UK, especially since guns are illegal. Always loved archery though :)

guns are not exactly illegal in UK.

Most handguns are anyway.

Shotguns and non semi automatic rifles are completelly legal to own if you get licence. When it is about semiautomatic rifles only .22 cal are legal to own.

Most handguns are illegal but muzzle-loading handguns are legal and there are some modified handguns that remain legal for sport use (longer barrel and stock etc.)

I absolutely love it. If I’m not hunting I’m either think about, talking about or reading about huntin or getting ready for the next hunting season.
