it is a little early, but there's no set time as to when you're "supposed" to get it. everyone's bodies are different. and yes, you are capable of getting pregnant once you have a period.

i got mine when i was twelve, a month before turning thirteen.

Well, 9 would be 4th grade, at least in the US, but yeah. That's how it works. I've got two older sisters and they both got theirs at 9 too, so it can be a genetic thing. It's early, but not crazy early.
