Pubic hair growth

Hi,

I'm 13 and just started growing pubic hair a few weeks ago. So far I have a few on either side of my penis but they seem to have stopped growing.

Did anyone go through this? And how long before they started growing again?

I started to get them at 13 at the base and on either side of my dick. Then it seemed like 2-3 weeks before more grew and they started to circle my dick and looked more noticeable when standing in front of a mirror. Also, I lost some weight from swimming which made them more noticeable. Now they are spreading to my thighs and getting bushier, longer, darker and kinkier. I will be 14 in August.

For the whole first year after I started growing my pubes I was so disappointed because, looking straight down it looked like I had a lot of hairs growing. But if I looked at myself naked in a mirror from maybe 10 feet away it didn't look like I had any pubic hair at all!
So, just give it time. It's not something at all worth worrying about. They'll grow more when they're ready to grow. It'll happen.

There's no standard and inform rate of growth, it'll happen at whatever pace it wants to and may go through many periods of fast growth and then none over and over in a cycle.

It is normal for hair at any part of the body to stop growing at some point.

For example, head hair often stops growing at about 3 feet.

i got pubes at like 13 they stopped growing for like a month and then started to grow again

That's normal. That's how mine started to come in too. Just be patient and it won't be long till you have a bush down there.

Yeah mine did that too when they started growing. It just takes a bit of time to start growing out

It took mine several weeks before I started growing some hair above my penis, and took even longer to be dense.

Oh yea, I did. A few started at the base of my penis that were soft and straight.

For me, it started as really bushy around the base and then sorta branched out from there, but I trim it all really short now anyway.
