Well, the "problem" with her shining in Nightwish is she's joining into a fanbase that is STILL at war even after almost a decade (to a lesser degree but it still persists). I would have been frightened to be in her position with how brutal people have been to Anette even recently, poor thing. But overall people seem to be really liking her. She will shine twice as bright because she's like a breath of fresh air. Floor was probably the best choice they could have made for the sake of fans as well as their career. She's different enough that they can move forward but she bridges the gap between Team Anette and Team Tarja. Obviously, it won't stop the wars, but it's already started quieting down imo since Imaginarium.

I feel like a veteran although Nightwish has been around since I was four, but I'm going on seven years and I'll say Floor Jansen becoming a full member was probably the highlight of music for me in years. Also that I'll likely be able to see Floor with Nightwish. I had some mixed feelings when Anette was dismissed literally a week or two after the concert I went to and I realized I could have had Floor Janson lol. I came to terms with Anette and think she's great, but Floor is settling in and doing wonders. Also, joining Nightwish. What that'll do to your career, lol. Take a great singer and put her in a huge band, she's gonna "shine" brighter just for those two factors.

I think she fits better into ReVamp and After Forever though (I'm more familiar with After Forever, gonna have to check out more of ReVamp) but that wasn't the question lol. But also gotta remember she's singing songs that were written for Anette. Next Nightwish album, I'm expecting her to be epic.
