If you masturbate regularly, chances are you probably won't have one. If you abstain from masturbation and sex, it can vary from person to person. I've heard of it taking a few days for some teenagers and a few weeks for others.

I've never had one, so I can't speak from experience.

I don't see why people want to have wet dreams. I had one and I woke up with a slimy mess to clean up. The dream was about auto racing and nothing sexual from what I remember. I started to jack after the wet dream and have not had another one which is fine with me. I had a friend who abstained from jacking for 30 days hoping to have a wet dream and never had one. To me jacking is so much more fun than wet dreams and u r awake for it.

I agree, but to each their own I suppose. I never saw the appeal of wet dreams either and never had the desire to try and have one. I would rather be fully awake for the orgasm.

I am 17 and have only recently started jerking off. I have only jerked off about 3 times. For years I've had wet dreams and even though I have started jerking off recently, I don't jerk off that often, so I still do get wet dreams. Wet dreams aren't really something you 'obtain' they just happen. It's the body's way of getting rid of excess cum so it makes sense to be advised not to jerk but, just as everything with the human body, there is no surefire way of making something happen.
