A lot of guys try to classify period as a plague but for me I see it a normal female thing. In all honesty I try to be sympathetic to my girl during that week and maybe pamper her a little bit if i can.

It is just a natural function that woman go through in order to have children. It is a bit inconvenient I am sure for girls but it is just something both sexes have to deal with.

lol not fun, stress inducing, and probably horrible to go through. tbh if i had a gf i'd get her ice cream, rub her shoulders, and cuddle. i had a gf who cheated on me and since it was long distance, i wrote her beautiful poems while she was sad or on her periods, or just when i wanted to. i called her beautiful and was sweet to her. sooooooooo i regret my sweetness due to her cheating lol
never had a gf close to me so if i did id do everything i could to help her out

Honestly it's just a normal thing women experience and really shouldn't be treated like some disgusting condition. I know that it's very uncomfortable, but you can't do anything about it, so guys should just be there for their girls when they're going through their periods. Do everything you can to make her happy and a little more comfortable, no matter what that is

My sister is visibly extra bitchy on hers, but I have to act like there's no link or else she'll call me a dirty ignorant pig. (:

It is what it is, nothing you can do about it.

it’s a natural thing all women go through and I think most of us completely support you all even if we may not show it. only time it may seem that guys hate periods is when you guys get mad at us for no reason and then lie about it or try to blame it on us like children. We get that you are more emotional but instead of denying it just let us recognize it. We all get emotional.

I think it's a natural thing, if I had a GF, I would be extra sweet and happy and do fun stuff with her and maybe cuddle

Girls are usually more annoying and sometimes it sucks. But apart from that, it's okay

I know it can cause a lot of pain and/or discomfort for girls, so if I know or they let me know they have it, I usually tend to look after them. Especially when it stains their clothes.

it is a normal thing that all girls go through and we have to be extra nice during that time.

The blood thing is disgusting especially since my only sister who is 14.5 years older than me used to not cover her pads and tampons properly when disposing them when she was in her teens and this freaked me out as a kid. But as got into her late 20’s the most i remember are her muscle cramps that need a hot water bottle for compress and had to make her lie down. It was such a hassle for her as it gave her an excuse to boss me around and make me her assistant when this happens.

I personally find it quite scary. If I was a girl and had my first period, I'd probably faint out of shock. But I guess it's something they get used to.

For the guys that have answered saying they wanted to pamper and do for your girls during their periods, kudos to you. That is so sweet of you!

My twin sister has been lucky, she only had mild periods so far. Still I noticed when they happen and I'm extra nice to her even if she tries not to make a big out of it. When they first started at early 12yo she used to sleep in my bed a lot and we still do sometimes.

They don’t bother me. I say just be ready for a hug or a run to get something for a girl. It’s a normal thing and so we should just be good friends/boyfriends/family members and support girls during their period.

I'll never experience them, but I know that they suck. I understand that biologically they're necessary, it just sucks that a lot of girls have to go through pain. They don't gross me out or anything like that, but i know it does with a lot of guys. I just see it as something that has to happen.

I know that they suck and that girls are experiencing discomfort. I generally give them a hug or do something to make them feel better

Periods are okay, but they aren’t as multifunctional as commas or as enticing as exclamation points

Doesn't sound very pleasant or nice but it's a natural thing.
