It's quite common to need to pee after masturbating as your body tries to clear the urethra of any remaining sperm in case it dries. The pain may just be your body struggling to switch from your sperm duct being open and your bladder being closed to the opposite fast enough after cumming.

I totally agree with this advice. All I would add is that semen is generally thick unlike urine which is watery, and it can be uncomfortable as you are pushing out any remaining semen. Are you new to ejaculating? If so, then your urethra is probably getting used to pushing out two fluids when before all it did was one: urine.
You are totally normal, and what happens to you happens to a lot of guys. It is always good to urinate after ejaculating so that you do not get any semen leaking out after masturbating.

I usually have to pee shortly after having an orgasm. It helps clean out the pipes too so to speak.

Usually I cant for a couple of minutes, at less until my boner completely goes away, and even then it seems like it takes a little more effort to get started but then after the pee comes out pretty normal.

Yep, I hate that. I usually wait 15 minutes or so, any less and it's difficult to go and can be pretty unpleasant. I think ShineintheDark is right about why too, I remember asking my doctor about it and he said something similar.

If you still have a boner when you pee that's probably the cause. Try to wait for it to go soft

It usually takes a second for the pee to come out but it doesn't hurt

I heard it's actually healthy to pee after cumming. I've never had it hurt, but it does feel a little awkward at first. It always takes a second to get going! lol

It’s normal once you get soft. Removes the remaining semen out of urethra

It's the internal urethral sphincter taking a little time to return to normal.
To understand that you need to know about how a guys "plumbing" works and it is probably worth looking up a diagram - search "male urinary anatomy" but to describe it, there a tube called the urethra that emerges from the bottom of your bladder and immediately goes through this internal urethral sphincter. That is a kind of muscular valve which can prevent the urine leaving your bladder, though you cannot consciously control this sphincter. Next the urethra goes through the prostate gland which is where your semen gets put into the urethra when you ejaculate both becase the prostate gland makes much of the liquid, and because this is where another tube joins which brings the sperm from your testicles and fluid from the seminal vesicles. Immediately after the prostate is another sphincter, the external urethral sphincter, which is the one you can control. Finally the urethra goes past the bulbo-urethral glands (which make pre-cum), and up the inside of your penis to the tip.
Normally, the internal (upper) sphincter opens automatically when your bladder is close to full and, if it not convenient to go at that moment, you delay going by closing the external (lower) sphincter. Once you reach the toilet you release the external sphincter and the urine flows out.
When you're getting close to cumming, though, and semen gathers in that bit of the urethra inside the prostate gland (between the sphincters) it is important that the internal (upper) sphincter does not open, even if your bladder should fill up, in order to keep the urine and semen separate. You don't want urine mixing with your semen, or your semen being pushed back into your bladder rather than out through your penis. To do that, the ejaculation reflex takes control of this internal (upper) sphincter and keeps it closed.
Once you'ver finished cumming, after a short delay, the ejaculation reflex stops controlling that sphincter and control becomes automatic again based on how full your bladder is. If you try to pee before the ejaculation relfex has released control of that sphincter then you can feel that you've opened the external (lower) sphincter as you you usually do when standing at the toilet, and you can feel that your bladder is ready, but with the internal sphincter still closed notthing will happen. If you "push", i.e. contract your bladder (the walls of which are a muscle) you're pushing against that sphincter. That's like increasing the water pressure rather than opening the tap!
So, after all that it is normal to need to wait a little bit. Just be patient and it will happen. Pushing isn't really a good idea.

It's really common, don't worry about it. It happens all the time for me. That's why I just piss outside if I j/o outside. It helps to clean everything out lol

I actually prefer to pee soon after cumming. The reason for this is that it helps clear the excess semen out that otherwise tends to 'leak' out, which can be mildly irritating and uncomfortable.:metal:

I usually try to wait until at least my boner goes down. It’s a weird feeling trying to pee with a boner after cumming. Like you feel like you really need to pee but you just can’t to it fast enough. Like I have to push so hard just to pee a little it’s so weird.
