Do you use safety shorts? (like ultra short leggings or volleyball shorts)

In case what do you wear with them or do you wear them alone?

When you wear safety shorts do you also wear something under them?

Do you like them or not?

I have a couple pair I just got for my birthday last month, that I am learning about. I was never much for skin tight clothes, however I like the way I look in these. One pair is white, the other light gray. I wear them alone, with just my everyday white cotton panties underneath although some girls layer them and wear an additional pair of shorts over them. Several of my girl friends don't wear panties with theirs and I think I will try that as well, because you can definitely see the outline of your panties through the shorts. I can probably tell you more, as warm weather is here, after wearing them for a few weeks.

I think you both misunderstand. Safety shorts purpose is to be worn under something like a skirt or dress so the shorts hide what's under the skirt or with very short shorts.
Not said that you can't wear them alone as you say but they are really thin and tight.

when modeling we call it armor plate, thong or anything you like, then a pair of Black or Dark Blue seamless Boy shorts.

Honestly I don't see the reason for wearing something to "hide" what's under my skirt or dress. The only thing under it would be my panties, and if someone can see them because they happen to be standing or sitting in a certain position, I don't really care because they are 1) boring, plain white ones, and 2) more than adequate to hide what's inside them like my pubic hair or girly parts from open view. Any "extra" layer seems unnecessary to me.

But I would definitely wear some of the skimpy shorts we are talking about as outer clothing, and plan to do exactly that since quite a few other girls are doing it. The ones I have are probably about the same size and fit as the "boy shorts" type of underpants, and cover more than enough of my body to wear on the outside as long as I have some regular panties underneath them. Some of my girlfriends don't wear panties underneath them.

I wear skirts (mostly miniskirts) all the time. It's very hot here in Arizona and NO, I do not wear shorts under my skirts. What's the purpose? If I'm wearing panties under my skirt then I'm sufficiently covered. Sometimes I will go commando even in a mini and I love the feel. I just have to be a bit more careful when it's windy and how I sit in public.

I've never heard of the term safety shorts. I do wear nike pro shorts (vball shorts) when I work out or sometimes just for comfort, but I would never wear them under something else. Seems pointless to me.

Just try to google or picture search safety shorts and you will see lots of different shorts and how they are worn. Practical for being active when wearing a skirt and like sitting on the ground for a festival it gives freedom to move. But of course you can have the same freedom when wearing just the shorts but then show some more of your figure.

I never heard of safety shorts either, and wonder if it's a concept more popular in some European countries than in the US? I certainly haven't seen any girls my age wearing any sort of shorts under a dress or skirt.

Sometimes you'll see a little girl up to maybe 6 years old that her mom put a pair of longer, but skin tight shorts on her under a dress and they are always long enough to show a few inches below the hem of the dress even when standing. But since little girls like to stand on their heads or turn somersaults, they can do it without their panties showing if the shorts are on. Not that it would matter if anyone saw a little girl's panties, they don't seem to care and I never did when I was little. I honestly wouldn't care now either since it's not likely to happen very often.

That's the only time I have ever seen shorts or an under layer of something worn with a dress or skirt, and we don't call them safety shorts.

I'm with others - I haven't heard of these. They sound like some kind of protective sports gear or something, like put those on and go play football haha

I’m not totally sure if these are the same..but my gymnastics shorts are kinda tight and small...I like them. I think they are comfortable...but that’s just me :)

Just try to google or picture search safety shorts and you will get lost of pictures of what they look like. Gymnastic shorts can be used i sometimes use my volley shorts.
I was in the city yesterday and saw at least a handful of girls who wore short tight shorts under their skirts even though it was pretty warm.
I have thought a little about the culture thing and in my country we bicycle a lot and it makes it easier or you don't have to worry so much when you bicycle and get on and off the bicycle if you have a pair of shorts underneath :)
