So my primary doctor retired and the new doctor is supposedly his kin. Turns out to be a female doctor, which is going to be an issue for me (we live in small town).
Before my original doctor retired, he was helping me with some issues, especially with my phimosis. I have been checking in with him with problems about my foreskin. It's not super tight but the doctor said it has to be much more loose or it will get a lot more tight when I get bigger. I come in weekly to check for progress, making sure the steroid cream works.
Yesterday was her first day and she checked it for me. I didn't anticipate how hot she was. Unfortunately, my penis reacted the same way I did and I got fully erect. She kind of smiled and said "it's okay, it happens a lot".
God I was so embarrassed.

Doctors are used to that kind of thing. Hopefully, you'll get used to her checking on you and it won't be an issue.

Hopefully, you'll get more comfortable with her. She's your doctor and in a small town with a limited amount of doctors, I don't think being female matters. As you adjust and get used to your doctor, everything will continue to get more familiar and comfortable for you. I mean it's always going to be a little awkward no matter who your doctor is.

My parents r doctors-they've seen
almost everything. If ur embarrassed
tell her u r uncomfortable maybe that
will settle the situation a bit. It happens.

My doctor is a nice looking female too. Fortunately I have never gotten an erection. Could be that I am gay too. Don't worry about it doctors see a lot of that. Hope she can help you. Don't let them talk you into circumcision.

well if it was something your older doctor dealt with...I'm sure he gave her your file or talked to her about your issues...so I'm sure she had a heads up. Nothing to be worried about.

I have to go and see the doctor or the nurse quite often for an embarrassing thing my body still does even though I'm 13 and the last time it was a new male doctor and I was really embarrassed when he started asking questions. But he could see I was embarrassed and he was really nice and told me not to worry because all he was there for was to try and help. Like other people have said doctors are used to dealing with everything and they know people get embarrassed but they are used to that.

I won't let them talk me into circumcision. I told my mom that and she supports my decision.
I guess I'll adjust. It's just so weird for me to have a female check my penis. I've only had female nurses check my vitals. This was new to me.

Like others have said, she's a professional. Its still awkward. I get it. But apparently it happens. My deal was way worst. When I was 15 I had to get my appendix out. As they wheeled me to surgery I saw my friends mom (my friend also played soccer with me and was a neighbor). She said she was going to prep me for surgery. She would take good care of me. She then proceeded to tell me she would do this and that. That included shaving my pubes lol. At the time I didnt really care since I was in pain and didn't wanna die. But it's always awkward seeing her now that she's seen my junk lol

It totally shouldn't matter, although I understand how you would feel. My grandma has been a nurse her whole adult life and by now has probably seen everyone in our small town naked more than once. When I had my appendix out at age 13, a male nurse gave me an enema and checked to see that I didn't need to be shaved (at that age I didn't have pubic hair yet).

Ya. I get that nurses and doctors see everything and are used to it. Btw I also had to get an enema before I could leave the hospital after my appendectomy. From a female nurse. And female nurses have seen me naked numerous times. But it being my friend's mom was the worse part! Uggh.

I'm sure that she wasn't bothered by it at all, and I know it might be hard for you to put it in the "insignificant" file in your brain, but based upon what my grandma has said she doesn't pay attention to exactly what anyone's naked body looks like, only to what service she is called upon to perform at the time for a patient.
I bet that your friend's mom doesn't even remember what you looked like naked if you asked her today to describe what she saw and how long you were naked while she worked on you, and that she totally doesn't even care about any of that either.
