Your semen has a good smell? That's wonderful because it's not always the case, some guys complained theirs smells like dead fish.

Semen liquefies after a period of time, that can be from 5 to 60 minutes in a normal range.

Um, well it smells fresh and little sweet ( I want to taste it, but I get scared and not brave enough after the sperm comes out). If its on a tissue for a while it will turn cold and I noticed that when it gets cold it smells sweeter and clean.

See what I said above you. That's really gross if it smells bad.

Yes, cum does start out thick and closer to opaque when you first ejaculate it and then becomes more liquid and clearer afterwards. There is a mechanism with enzymes to make this happen.
One has to assume this serves some purpose. Perhaps the thickness it to make the cum stick inside the girl/woman and stop it immediately running out again and then, once the vagina has tightenned up again and running out is not as likely, it can liquify to let the sperm swim more freely.
It smells good too if it sits on tissues for a while.
And then other people suggested that it did not smell so good. I think this all about association. if the smell reminds you of something else you dislike or find disgusting in some way then you may find the smell of cum disgusting too. On the other hand if the only association you have for that smell is that you become aware of it at the same time as feeling the pleasure of orgasm then that is probably a very positive association and you may find the smell pleasant.

I left some sitting on me recently without drying because I felt too good to care. I think it took around 15 minutes to dry and looking from certain angles you can see it was there, and I'm guessing the smell might still linger (which I personally don't care about as I love the smell and taste...) until you clean yourself up. It turns clear

yep, for me at least, after i have cummed, i just sit there feeling goo, or feeling shit, before making a move to clean up, and yh, i have seen the change (not the actual transfomation, but the before and after)

I like to masturbate. And it feels really good to spurt out my sperm. So you think that it smells good to me because it feels good to make it? Why does it smell sweet and fresh if I wait a while?

Yes of course. Mee too. You have to wait for a while before you can release that load again.

Good question. I think the point about association is why one person may like the smell and another person dislike it. For why you only become aware of a smell you find pleasanrt after waiting a while that seems a less likely explanation.
Certainly, I enjoy having cum with my orgasm - I like to feel it well up from inside me and spurt out, I like to watch the fountain and I like to feel the warm splashes as it lands on my chest/stomach but once the orgasm is over I tend to lose interest in it. I don't ever find it gross but I become ambivalent about it.
Going back to your "delayed smell" it may simple be rate of evapouration - once it becomes thinner some of the liquid can evapourate more easily and thus deliver the smell. Or maybe there is some chemical change brought about by the same enzymes that cause it to become thinner that changes the smell.
