My pubes are natural but sometimes they get tangled into knots. Does this happen to anyone else and is there a way to stop it.

Unless you wanna comb and brush them I don’t think there’s a way to prevent that lol

Trimming them might help.

This is the only solution I see too for untangling your pubic hair. You could try trimming your pubes a bit that might help too.

I shave mine so I don't have that problem.

I use to have that problem. Now when I shampoo and condition my head hair, I put some conditioner on my pubes and no longer have that problem.

Try a close trim if they
keep on tangling.

Wow your pubes must be pretty long if they get tangled into knots. Easiest is probably to trim them down if you think it's a problem

When I was younger I had this problem for sure.
I think keeping a well trimmed area is the best solution for this. Since consistently trimming the hair, I haven't had this problem.

That's what I sometimes do if it happens to me. I don't get it very often even though I'm natural, but trimming them could also help.

I always trim them, or even shave. Never had that problem, having too long pubes is not for me.

Never had that problem because I am forced to shave by my swim coach.

Really, forced ?
I imagine it's an obligation for all the team ?

Trimning your pubes should help

Trimming or shaving is the obvious solution. Second most obvious solution is treating it like head hair (shampoo, condition, comb/brush). You could even use head and shoulders shampoo (has conditioner in it plus eliminates pube dandruff). Or embrace the knots and grow dreadlocks in your pubes. If all else fails ask your barber/hairstylist if they will help you with your nasty knotty pube issues.

Used to experience that to some extent, since I'm pretty naturally hairy. Now I shave there though, so it isn't really applicable. That or trimming is kinda what I recommend, but you could also just use the techniques that people use to keep their other natural hair under control, like conditioner and cleaning products.

This is a good point, I do the exact same thing, really helps if you keep your pubes more natural and without trimming

I know most people have already said this, but trimming or shaving is your best bet. I had the same issue when I let my pubes be natural, and the problem kept coming back.

This sounds gross... just shave them...

Oh, it might sound weird, because shaving is an intimate thing... especially for teen boys...

Does that mean the coach inspects locker room and says, "ok, guys with pubes, you shave that right now!" ?

I have natural pubes and have never had this problem. I know some guys on here said to trim or shave them, and I guess you could trim them a little bit, but I like having natural pubes and I wouldn't want to trim or shave mine because I don't like how that looks. But that's just me. Everyone is different. I also read how someone said they use shampoo down there, and I do that too, so maybe that's why I have never had an issue. But yeah, my pubes are natural and really thick, and I have never had a knot or ever heard of someone getting one, so I'm not sure what's going on.
