Hi Girls:
Well today my undies pack came from Ebay. It was the first time I bought some in a long time. I paid $36 for a mixed 12 pack(2 seamless thongs, 2 seamless boy shorts 4 hi cut, 4 white Bikini. The price tags were still on them. I saw they were tagged as $9.99 each. I know I got 119.88 undies for $36 yea.
I don't know why our undies cost so much. My step brother underwear is like $5 a 3 pack. Our have so much less fabric. The cost of a lace thong might be $15 to 20 each. OK,OK the thongs will not last long is there is not much to them.

Guys I know you will read this how much do you pay for your underwear if you buy your own. (I know most will have it bought by Mom or GF)

So happy for Ebay. Girls if you use Ebay or Amazon you will get good deals. I was told by someone that the on Ebay might be LAST YEARS styles. Who cares it's panties girls you ever see them change year to year.
OK all done venting. So girls what do you think.

Don't get me going on bras or bathing suits.

I think for the most part, our underwear is more expensive especially considering how little material there is....although, I bought my BF some Calvin Klein "Pouch" boxer briefs that look AMAZING on him and they were $22 each and I bought him 5 pair but they really do look good on him. For the most part though, Candy is right...you can get a guy a package of six pairs of underwear for $10 whereas a few thongs can run $30 or more.

Because we're willing to pay $20 for a cute little thong instead of always going for the 3-pak of Hanes white cotton bikinis. <guilty as charged...shut up and take my money>

I think it might be because of the design? They probably have fashion designers spending time on those thongs but boys’ undies are just normal and practical ones. Just an idea, i could be wrong.

Yeah it can be a lot more expensive. I'm not sure why is that but I don't care, some panties and thongs are cute as fuck and I'm willing to pay more than I should for them! :P

You clearly done realize that a 4 pack of Calvin Klein briefs is a pout $40. It’s not uncommon for men’s underwear in individual packages to cost between $25-30 per pair. That’s like Calvin Klein, 2(x)ist, Polo, etc.

Guess there are put more detail in to many girls underwear. But as long as we are willing to pay the price it will be higher.
But maybe our underwear is more expensive, much of hour outer wear can be cheaper.

When it comes to bras and thongs, they often contain more expensive materials such as lace or higher-quality fabrics. They are likely designed to be more absorbent in case of surprise periods etc. Bras are designed to be sturdier as to support breasts so use slightly more quality fabrics. For guys, they were literally cheap ass fabric sewn together.

That is a good point.... at least a bra has to work harder. I'm not sure I buy it about panties and stuff though - those are pretty flimsy, and I think I do more to protect them when it's that time of the month. They don't do anything magical lol.

I think it also really depends on where you are buying your underwear. Some places have good multi-packs for cheap. And even places like VS have great sales several times a year.

True. I wear mostly bikini style or low rise briefs (and sometimes thongs) from brands like 2xist, Papi, Cin2 and other brands that I find on line. Some of them run as much as $25 or more per pair. I really don't mind paying the extra money because I like wearing sexy underwear.

This is very true.

In general I think a lot of guys are less likely to care but I buy better underwear. I don't spend $20 a pair on most of mine, but I don't buy Hanes either. There are some brands of underwear for guys which can be just as outrageously expensive.

I must be totally boring then, because mom has always bought us the packaged sort, usually Fruit of the Loom or Hanes. So whenever I buy my own, that's what I go for too. Even more boring is the plain white cotton ones, but that's what we have always had in our family. You can always find them for about $10 a bag, and sometimes get 7 or 8 pairs for that price but more likely 5 or 6 pairs.

Panties are more of a utilitarian item for my family I guess, but the less expensive brands seem just fine to me. I'd rather spend more money on something that shows, like a dress, shirt, jeans, or shoes. I really don't care what sort of underwear I have on as long as it fits comfortably and is durable enough to last more than just a few wearings.
