I don't know how I feel about it

So we went camping awhile ago and I accidentally touched poison ivy with both hands. We ended up going home early instead of staying one more day.

I'm usually a really modest person and i get nervous when people see me topless at the pool or beach in public. But when we got back my mom made me take a bath and I had to get naked in front of her. I told her that I didn't want to and would rather wait until my hands healed but she insisted.

My main concern was that I wasn't sure how I felt about my mom touching my penis to wash it. I was afraid that it might react differently and become embarrassing. Unfortunately, it happened, it grew fully erect in her hands but she played it cool. But it still bothers me. Should I talk to her about it? Or just try to forget it? Is she going to think differently of me?



P.S My dad and mom divorced and my dad lives 2500 miles away

I get seen naked by my parents every once in a while and it's no big deal, but they haven't ever seen me erect and I honestly don't want them too. But I agree just don't mention it. It happened and it's over now.

She is your mom and will always be. You are her precious baby and she means nothing but to help you and care for you. I know it must be a bit embarrassing but I am sure she didn't think a thing about helping you and what happened. You don't say how old you are so I don't have a clue where you are puberty wise either. But having someone else touching your penis is naturally stimulating especially to a horny teenager. So don't worried about that mom or not.

Okay so my mom finally followed up on this situation.

She told me that it is okay, I don't have to feel ashamed for what happened that day. She reassured me that she doesn't think of me anymore than just her dear son.

Getting an erection in front of my mom would've been extremely awkward for me, regardless whether she said anything about it or not. Being naked in front of parents in general depends on a case by case basis but I'd feel very awkward too and would do everything to try to avoid it. But like JT suggested you could probably put on some gloves or something on your hands to allow you to shower/bathe on your own.

In my opinion, talking about it would only create an awkward conversation. It is unlikely that you will we in a similar situation in the future. However, if this ever comes up again, tell her that you will not be allowing her to bathe you. If she tries to argue, stand firm (no pun intended) or walk away.
