Adults in locker room when you're naked

Many boys are nervous to shower at school cuz they are nervous about being seen by other boys who might be more developed or they might pop a boner. But are there any boys that have to shower in front of adults? Like PE teachers or coach? I thought of this this past week when basically all of the track coaches walked through the shower area plus I saw one coach naked when changing in the coaching room through the glass. It's always weird to me to see adults naked at like the gym but it is what it is. But it's very weird for me to see and be seen naked adults who i know really really well like teachers and coaches. So ... (and girls please answer these too, even tho it's probably a little more for guys)

When we first started the swim unit, we were required to shower and our teacher would monitor the showers and hand out towels and stuff. But after we got into the rythym of showering she stopped doing that as much. Now she sort of just generally monitors the locker room, mostly from her office.

No. Our teacher showered during the swim unit in her office, not in the locker room showers. I do think some teachers use a regular locker room if they workout before or after school.

1, Do you shower at school? Yes. Not after PE but after sports and before school since we run from school for our zero hour class.

Plus it's weird but how the back door is in relation to the showers, if a parent comes in the back door (which happens a lot since they figure a bathroom is in there (and it is) they will see us showering and see the long lines of naked boys in line for the showers.

They are supposed to supervise. If something happened like someone fell from running or someone was pushed they could probably get sued or fired but I think they would rather talk to each other in the coaches office with the big windows. Once we did get in trouble cuz we were goofing off and the principal made our coach hang out in the locker rooms. After a week coach said to us that he was done doing it. He just wanted us to keep not goofing off but that he was done watching us shower and having to see our little willies (which is fynny since after seeing him a couple times, many of us are bigger than him lol)

But mostly at summer camps. Some summer camps have the coaches shower in showers away from the athletes but others don't. When they don't I think coaches try to shower before or after athletes shower time. But sometimes it can't be avoided. It's weird af to have a ton of boys showering with a few coaches imo.

I can take coaches and PE teachers seeing me naked a lot better than other adults i know, but would rather not see me that way.

OK, I'm a 15 year old girl and I will answer because I think the same situations apply to us as well as to boys

2. Do adults see you naked in the locker room? Yes, both the gym teacher and her assistant(s) which are usually volunteer moms of students at our school
3. Do teachers/coaches HAVE to supervise your locker room (like hand out towels, or check you off a list) or do they just walk in and out, but basically stay in the teachers room or somewhere? There are always at least two adults in the locker room and shower area. They hand out towels after the showers, and also check us off the list to prove we actually showered.

She saw pretty much everything since she was in front of me when I pulled my pants and underwear down for the shots, he was behind me and only could see my bottom.

There are only two kinds of bodies, male and female, which come in a variety of sizes shapes and ages. But we are all basically alike other than the gender differences which are insignificant to those of us who are naturists.

First of all I had no idea dentist would ever have the opportunity to see their patients partly naked. That's weird. Second of all, I love your view of nudity! That's why I love hanging out with nudists! Best people in the world. Very humble and centered. I don't consider myself a nudist, just someone who gets their POV and has joined them on occasion. I spend way too much time in clothes to consider myself a nudist. Plus my brain still often thinks like a regular person. My first experience with nudists was at a clothing optional hotsprings when I was 13 and I was hooked on stuff like that. You're lucky!

That happened to me once too, I'd just gotten back from Haiti and had a weird fever (turned out to be worse than it seemed, I was sick for weeks, lost like 20 pounds, doctors still aren't sure what I contracted but basically I just hope it never comes back) and an infected tooth that the dentist thought was something worse than it turned out to be and just to be on the safe side she's like, 'well, you can go to the pharmacy and have them do this there, but we're here already and if you don't mind we really should do this to be on the safe side, and it's free' and I'll admit I was kind of wary of the procedure but when she said it was free my jeans were just immediately down and I assumed the position and then she just says 'umm...we still need to get the dosage ready and stuff like that, it'll take a few minutes, maybe keep your pants on until then.'

Our lacrosse coach would always shower with us, which I think she did to kind of show solidarity and foster a team spirit with us. It didn't help, we were a horrible team, but we did have fun.

She seemed like kind of a bitch at first but the more I got to know her I realized that she just had a very shitty life and actually she had a really good sense of humor once you interacted with her outside of gym class. Our swimming coach always was in the lockers, but that's because she always changed with us.

The moms very rarely change and shower. Once in a great while, the gym teacher has one or two of the volunteers run with us on a course along the sidewalks through neighborhoods for a few miles to make sure no one is cheating or taking a short cut. Other times they follow us on a bicycle or even in a car. On those days, the mom who ran a few miles might shower and change with the girls in the last class of the day. They don't seem to mind if the gym teachers and coaches shower with the students or not.

For whatever reason I think it is more natural for adult women (coaches or moms) to shower with girls. With adult men (especially single coaches or other men you always wonder if they are pedos since you hear stories in the news).

However the past month was eye opening to me. Especially the past week, I graduated and we went to a basketball camp so I went as a volunteer coach basically. So I was showering with kids somedays and with other coaches other days. And on occasion the older coaches would shower with the kids. But the kids don't really see me as a coach yet. That's a big issue for some kids, particularly back in middle school some girls that had never showered in a group before and never seen another girl naked were quite hesitant to do that at first. How would we even know if someone else was enjoying the other naked girls standing near them?

As far as a professional doing something like that creep did, I'm very sure that some people would be easy to convince that those things were necessary for whatever reason. Mom had that discussion with us, and with some of my friends when that case came out in the open. She says we are programmed to accept the word of authority figures and up until now, something would have had to be really bad before anyone would report it. I totally hate to admit this, but having read about the description of what he was doing, if he wasn't acting creepy about it then he would have easily been able to convince me that was appropriate and I wouldn't have said anything about it. Mom says she's sure that the number of those who didn't step forward with the other victims is much larger than the number of those who did and we are never going to know how many there actually were. She feels that there are probably 5 or 10 who are too ashamed to say anything for every one who did.

Because of that case, when I had to get an emergency root canal done late in the evening and the dentist had to give me antibiotic shots in my butt afterward to help cure the infection that came with it, my mom questioned whether that was appropriate and was relieved when we found out that it was.

We live in a relatively small town in the midwest part of the US. During the summer months everyone uses the community pool at the rec center. You will see not only some of your teachers from school in the locker room and showers there, but also friend's parents, the clerk from the grocery store, the nurse from your doctor's office with her kids, you name it and that person might be there at one time or another. I've seen a lot of the female teachers that I had in elementary school and middle school there over the years with their own kids, and the assistant principal of my high school was there just last week. I agree that nudity is normal and healthy. With strangers and with friends. Its the fringe people (uncles, teachers, people who know my parents) that I still need to come to a better, more comfortable place. But you bring up a great point, in small towns the liklihood to be naked with a person you know is heightened. And my brain KNOWS it's ok when my uncle or principal or whoever sees me naked. It's just a tiny irrational motional part of me that thinks its weird (even when I KNOW it's fine).

I worked out at my friends gym last week and this guy in his 20s was showering in shorts. THAT is irrational lol. I mean what is he hiding? He seemed to know two guys (idk if they showered naked or not, but were drying off naked so they were fine being naked). Why would he care if strangers saw him naked? Some people have a different sense of modesty, and I learned long ago not to question their values and comfort level about stuff like that out loud in front of them.

Usually 99% of people don't keep anything on in the showers, but I've also seen some girls and even adult women who leave their underpants on in the shower then quickly change them as they are drying off and getting dressed. It's not that they are totally opposed to others seeing them naked since they are for the length of time it takes them to slip the underwear off, dry that area, and put on fresh underwear which takes maybe a minute or two at the most.

But their comfort level doesn't extend to being fully naked in the showers with other people for like 5-10 minutes at a time. All is good. I'm the first one out of her clothes, and the last one to get dressed many times, but that's me and I don't care who sees me naked.

The point about a small town is very true, by the time you are my age if you use rec facilities like the pool, you will have seen half the people in town there at one time or another and it doesn't matter if they are your teachers, people from church, or your next door neighbors. No one seems to pay any attention to that and at least for me, it doesn't change the relationship or friendship with those people. It's not like, oh I see the teacher in class and think to myself I saw her naked in the showers and she has a great body and a tattoo on her butt. That thought process rarely happens for me. You are more likely to think oh, I saw her at the pool with her kids and they looked like they were having lots of fun, it's nice to see that she has a family and does things together. But there is a totally different sense of community in small towns and I'm glad I live in one.

They will come in if they hear a lot of noise when we are 'home' but will usually stay in the locker room with us at 'away' meets or games.

I also train and swim for a community team at our swimming center in town so there are always adults in there.

I forgot I even made this post back in May. My view is sorta changed since graduating HS and being a volunteer coach for my old HS and at several summer camps. At camps this summer I actually showered with adults more than kids. So I am totally used to it now.

Still in my head though I get sorta creeped out by seeing coaches who stand in the locker rooms and hand out towels and carry conversations with naked minors. You hear about pedophiles and stuff. I mean I don't think any coach I know is one, but I have had some gut thoughts that some enjoy seeing naked boys.

In this day and age it is very important that coaches monitor the locker room and showers. This prevents horseplay and bullying.

I know none of us mind have a same sex coach in the locker and and showers.

I have never seen a coach change or shower naked with us.

2. Do adults see you naked in the locker room? Not at school, but the locker room where I do gymnastics is used by women who has been different places in the sports center. Some arrive to do another sport, when we are done, so women of many ages are coming and going all the time. When I've undresses and go for the shower, the door might open and a number of women or younger girls or whatever might come in. No problem to me.

there generally needs to be some supervision in a locker room.
