Ive been struggling a lot with my body and especially my labia. The inner ones are long and I feel like they keep growing. i started puberty a little later than my friends and was wondering a few things like for other girls with outies how long did they grow for? was it like all the sudden or over a long time? and how long after puberty were they still growing?

I know its a super personal subject so i really appreciate anybody who is willing to share even a little bit about this. But my insecurity is the reason i just joined this forum and i really want to learn more about whats normal and understand things and this seems like a helpful place i can turn to.

It is all based on you genes. If you have a older sister it might help you. It is like breast size, it will just happen. Your labia should stop growing by 20 or so. PM me when you can

The outer lips (labia majora) and inner lips (labia minora) grows rapidly after puberty in some proposition.in some girls the inner lips beat the outer lips in growth and make the girs outies.I am in innie and many of friends are outies. This is genetics.Nothing to be worried..let us love what it is..

Although I am a innie but my clit hood has shown between the lips since I was quite young, It has never bothered me as I know it's normal as everyone one is different.
The same goes the labia minora the labia majora it's normal for them to stick out as in being a outtie. So be happy with your body.

even for innies the clit hood peeps out through the slit, if it is some what bigger in size or aroused by stimulation or thought..it happens to me and some of my friends too.

Here on VT it looks like that most girls are innies, I don’t know why but I have read that in the real world it is something like 50/50. Maybe it is because outie girls don’t respond as easy on VT because they are feeling less secure about it, like you do.

In another thread “Innies or outies? (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showpost.php?p=3643762&postcount=66)” I referred to http://www.labiaproject.com/innie-vs-outie-vagina-poll/ the current score there is 80% outie, which I doubt as well. I guess because outie girls are the ones most insecure about their labia and want to know about the rest.

In that thread I also referred to an article "Vagina surgery 'sought by girls as young as nine (http://www.bbc.com/news/health-40410459)" on BBC-news. It is a recommended read for all "unhappy" young girls.

Learning to love yourself really is both a life-skill and a life-long process...and I think for a lot of girls, myself included, it really started with learning to love my vulva. When I was 10, a girl in my gym class made fun of me because I didn't have an outie, and that because of this I would never 'get a boy'--though at that age, we were just barely learning what we would do with them once we got one, and pretty much all disgusted by that process, because boys were gross. My eldest sister caught wind of this because I was pretty much fuming about it when I went home. She said that anyone who laughs at my[your] pussy doesn't get the honor of enjoying it, and that, really, when you got down to it, ninety percent of folks interested in your vulva are not going to care what it looks like just that they are seeing it is amazing, and the other ten percent will just worship you because you have what, is in their mind, the perfect pussy. I'm of the opinion that all pussies/vulvae/cunts are perfect and beautiful. The.vulva.gallery needs to put out a book for young girls just spreading this truth all out there.

Visually, I like the way mine look. My boyfriend is impressed with them, and so are the girls I date. :)

I responded to a similar post in the puberty for all forum that I think is quite applicable here so I'm going to add it for you:

My younger sister is 14 and is an outie. For her I think it was a gradual change as from age 11 till now as over that time, I started to notice her inner lips were becoming more and more visible.

I am an innie but my clit hood protrudes out and is visible. I only really noticed that on myself by the time I was 14 and it hasnt changed since. I guess this is my final form lol

I'm on the swim team so I change and shower quite often with other girls in the locker room. I'm also comfortable changing in front of my friends so it is inevitable for me to see other girl's vaginas as it is hard not to glance in a locker room situation. Even just glancing though, I find you can see quite a bit in terms of whether they are an innie our an outie, especially if they are shaved bare lol :lol:
