I absolutely loooooovvvee Mr. Bean, Monty Python, and Miranda. Three of the greatest sources of humor in my life. Along with dark, misanthropic american stand up comedians like George Carlin and Doug Stanhope.

Laurel & Hardy is the best comedy on earth I know it's american but Laurel is English so thought it deserved a mention.

But actual British comedy, how has Black Adder not been mentioned?! That is wonderful and genius. And I literally cry at 8 out of 10 cats.

Then for stand up comedians, Michael McIntyre, Russell Howard, Russell Brand, Jon Richardson, Jimmy Carr, Jack Whitehall, John Bishop need I go on.

A REALLY funny BritCom is called Outnumbered. Its newer and I think Season 5 is out now. You can watch clips on YouTube but the only way I found complete episodes and seasons is by torrents. The kids Karen and Ben are the funniest. :P
