I'm also not a nudist but I have done a lot of skinny dipping with friends and family my age, so it's true you get used to being naked pretty fast if your peers are nude as well. Sleeping naked is also great to get comfortable with just being nude for a while. I'd say that you should ask a close friend to try it with you if you really want to get comfortable in front of other people.

We just go to beaches, Nudist camps both the really big one family ones and small ones where everyone knows each other with not as many rules. Being a all girl house helps.

I still say just sleep naked at night. Your body will get used to it slowly. You can masturbate of course but stay naked afterward, even though you very well might have lost the urge to be naked. It was the same for me but after a few days I was fine with it.

I think the term "nudist" is personally defined differently by every individual. There are probably very few true nudists here. But likely many home nudists. Imo a true nudist is someone who is naked more days than not and goes to a nudist resort or beach like minimally 10 days a year. I'm not even a home nudist (since my parents don't know I like being nude). But I sleep naked every night for the past 5-ish years. Hang out naked with siblings after showering. Have been to a nude resort twice. Been to nude beach over 20 times. Been to nude hot springs over 20 times. Have ran in naked races over 10 times. My best suggestion is camping with friends. While camping, go to a clothing optional hot springs, skinny dip, play strip games, and sleep naked.

I'll admit that I love just being nude, but I have had almost no opportunity to be nude socially with others (like to go to a nude beach). I will often take off all my clothes in the privacy of my room to read, and even to do homework. When my mom isn't home (I'm home alone after school every day), I'll often do the chores she requires me to do, like washing my own clothes, stripped naked while I'm working. For me, it's just a nice free relaxed feeling to be nude.

At home I had to sleep nude when I was like 14 or so because I got bad jock itch and the doc reccomended that I take a shower at night and keep my undies and bed clothes off to help ventilate my nether regions....I was kinda embarressed as my sis+cousins too stayed in the house and my room was not locked....So I wore a long tee and socks to bed..

Another time I went to a nude beach with 2 of my friends (they surprised me)...This was the time I just started to fill out after being skinny all my life so I was self-consious about my skinny-fat body.....so I went to the beach in a longish undershirt and undies, then took my undies off in the beach.....It actually exposed my butt but my front and most of all my skinny-fat body was covered.

If you actually knew the person you would probably know but since I'm always a visitor obv I don't know. It's really not any different than a guy with a boner. My family are naturists/nudists and my mom grew up in a family that was as well, so for me I have always known this experience even as a baby. Once I was out of diapers, I understood that I was free to wear nothing at all if I wanted to, just like the rest of my family.

I think you should try being naked more often, whenever possible. Even if others are not present just getting to the point where you can be totally comfortable being without any clothes on is an awesome experience. You also have to learn to separate nudity from sexuality. The two things do not have to be connected in your thinking at all, but I guess it takes some work to get there.

Don't let body factors be any issue. I am currently quite chubby at 5'6" and almost 160 pounds, so nothing spectacular to look at but I am OK with my body being what it is, and I really don't have any issues with others seeing my body, even strangers.

Our family has been talking about going for an afternoon, possibly on Sunday or Monday, which is a holiday in the US. It will be our first naturist/nudist outing of the season. We are all looking forward to it, but if we don't get to make the trip, there's always the back yard. Mom said if we do go, I can invite a friend. I think it will be my boyfriend, as he has never been before but said he would like to go. He's used to us as a family, but it could be interesting to see his reaction to being in a group that could be dozens or hundreds of naked people.

We like going to small places that have fewer members and fewer rules for everyone. At this place you can't be under 10 to go there and no single guys. It is Okay for single women to go. Found out we can go to the dance Sat. night there

I think most of the places my family has been have similar rules about no single guys being allowed. Mom says they have had issues in the past with people who only wanted to see naked girls and women at some of the different places.

I love dances and parties at the naturist resorts! So much fun! Usually we have gone to places that have a pretty large crowd attending on weekends, but not so busy during the week. We have been to a few of the smaller ones too. Since my mom grew up in a nudist family, she has lots of friends that she has known since she was a little girl and we often plan to attend events that they will be going to with their families. We have gone to a lot of parties at people's houses where there might only be 20 or 30 people there.

Because we have a huge back yard with tall bushes and privacy fencing, we have had some of our nudist friends and relatives over for parties, usually a couple of times every summer. Sometimes as many as 50 people have been here. We used to have a 40 foot above ground pool but it got damaged by a falling tree limb last summer so we had to take it down and dad says we won't be getting another one.

My family is on a 5-day vaca back to where I grew up, so on Sunday I'm going with my friends to a clothing optional hotsprings we all used to go to together. Gonna be 4 guys and 2 girls. There's no telling how many people will be at the springs. Sometimes there's people waiting to get into the pools. Other times it's completely empty for a bit (always fills up fast tho, never had it to ourselves for more than half hour). My parents don't know I go. "Liking others to look at your body" is a good way to put it. You might be a little more of an exhibitionist than you think! Liking others to look at your body is sort of the definition of exhibitionism. But i get that you dont sexually get off on it. I guess I don't either. I don't get arroused at the time at least I'm glad since that would be embarrassing. But i do go home later and have fantasies about girls I saw while masturbating.

That's cool that it helps with body image and approval. Nudism has helped me too. Most of the girls I saw naked prior to nudism all had more or less "perfect" bodies (or were at least skinny). Thicker girls didn't swap pics or skinnydip or play naked games at parties. But first time I saw a bigger girl naked at the nude peach or hot springs I was surprised. I have actually found some bigger girls pretty hot. Curves aren't bad naked. In many cases some thicker girls looked better naked than clothes. The clothes sometimes hide and are frumpy or something. Anyway that's my experience and what I've learned. I've also sat in hot springs next to morbidly obese women and men and that was fun too because they were fun people and I didn't judge their body.

I know for a fact that at the Naturis/Nudist lifestyle Resorts that my parents own three of them so I'm not just a novice nudist it's a lifestyle and at all of our resorts and most others I have been to with my family there is a proper etiquette you have to go by such as never sitting on a bare surface you have a towel with you at all times and it is to be placed on the surface of what you sit on

And the menstrual cycle time to put on panties and shorts not just out of respect for myself but also for the others I encounter at the resort during my menstrual cycle that is the proper etiquette for most upscale nudist resorts

After you do everyday activities naked for a while, it seems just natural to be naked all the time. I can't think of anything at all around the house you wouldn't do naked, except for cooking certain things that might spatter or splash something hot on you. That's why they make aprons.

Yeah you couldn't do cooking lol. We've never been naked at home except obviously changing for bed etc. I still get seen by parents and I see them like if I need to get to the bathroom in the morning and one of them is in the shower. But I can't imagine what it would be like to be just naked around the house at other times.

I think all straight/bi men and bi/gay women like to see women they find attractive naked, I know I do haha. Like you said, I (never having been to a nudist resort or beach though I have def been skinny dipping before) realize that is not the point of a nudist resort, but come on, your going to see people you are attracted to while you are there, it is def going to be enjoyable.

One tip I can give for anyone who has never been before is once you get there, just go with it, get out of your clothes and find things to do. It won't take long for you to forget about being naked and enjoy yourself.

Hello As a naturist a few of the mportant advice I would give you is just to act as you would usually act around any other people, Another thing is not to stare at anyone. Also keep a small towel with you to sit on like on chairs, sun loungers and in the sauna etc. One of the important things for boys is if you did happen to get an erecrtion don't walk around with it but go and take care it like a cold shower or going for a swim etc. etc.or even turn over and lay face down. But it's unlikely to happen as naturism is not a sexual thing.

Hiya @ Sazzo or anyone getting boobs and pubes is normal part of growing up, and no one would take any notice of you or and most of of them that was raised as a naturists would have gone through puberty themselves. And when having your period you would wear bikini bottom.

I’ve never been to a nudist resort with my family before. My mom is very much against us being seen naked by strangers, so we don’t. However, I’ve been with my best friend and his family since I was 8. I just went last week with him and a few other members of his extended family. I went with him (13), his sisters (10, 8) his bother (15, 7), his male cousins (5, 10, 13) and his female cousins (3, 9, 12). His mom, Dad, aunt, and uncle came too. We stayed for about a week in a hotel on site, and I didn’t put clothes on the whole time. They didn’t care that I wasn’t related to them, they just liked hanging out. And for those asking about periods, most of the time they wear tampons and tuck the string, just so a little sticks out. The 12 year old cousin was on her period while we were there, so she’d put her tampons in in our bedroom (kids in one room, parents in the other). However, at night she would put on panties and use a pad. During the day, she’d keep her tampon ok, but if we went to the ocean, she took it out, and went the rest of the day without it.

I agree at the two naked runs i did at the nude resort there were adults obv nervous to get naked. Some people would get there hours befire the run and immediately get naked and swim or get in the hot tub or play volleyball or just lie in the sun. They all seemed to have fun. Others looked around nervously and didn't get naked till the race started. After the race they stayed naked cuz they finally realized how much fun it was. Others ran clothed the entire time and left after the race. I guess they chickened out or just wanted to get off watching naked people. My point is that the people who went all in quickly had the most un. Also at tge clotging optional bot springs a group of maybe a dozen college girls came one day frim a small local Christian college. They were visibly nervous. Two even got naked under a towel, walked into the hot tub, and threw the soaking wet towel out so nobody saw them naked. Which was so funny since they had to get out naked and had no towell to dry off with so they were seen naked even longer trying to air dry lol. Made zero sense. Just embrace being naked and we all have bodies but aren't judging.

Well then here it is. Woke up at 11:40 and decided to go on a 2 hour nudism session. Man it was less distressing this time I have to say. I also ate breakfast for my first time naked. Wanted to also watch the TV downstairs, but realized there was no WC match til Friday lol. Somehow the conquering ability is shifting gears every time I practice nudism eh?

And put on my clothes and finally for me being naked feels very comfortable, I put on my clothes realizing finally is just a protective barrier for your body. And boy it feels very relaxing too. Put on my clothes too like if I just got out of a massage.

My brother and me have pretty much been nude for the last week. It's been wicked hot so we spend all our time in or next to the pool. It's been so much fun, we're both brown all over. I'm starting puberty so I am getting erections but it doesn't seem like as many as when I have clothes on. They don't last long and I'll just roll over if I'm not in the water. Mom does want us to put something on in the house if we're not in our room but we go in and out all day nude and that's been OK with her. I think we're wearing her down to be honest :D It really is nice to not have to worry about doing laundry or handing out in a wet bathing suit. And we really like not having tan lines. A couple of my friends are jealous

Well I did 30 minutes in Monday I think(Just watched some of the first half of the France VS Belgium game and today I am going for 2 hours. Almost done with completing the first hour)

Well then slept naked last night and to make things even more interesting I decided to stay naked still, so far I been now naked for 12 hours.

I mostly sleep with just underwear but have done some exploring without. Most of the time, walking around the house naked isn't much a choice as this house has windows everywhere and my parents(or should I say grandparents) say I'm too old to be naked around my sisters, or even in my underwear...

Is there an area of your yard that you can be naked without them being able to see you? Otherwise you need to stay inside the house. We live in a similar setting, near the edge of a relatively small town in a mostly rural surrounding area. With a tall privacy fence our neighbors can't see into our back yard so we've never had any issues with being naked there. In the house, you just have to keep the curtains or window shades pulled after dark when the lights are on. No one can really see inside in the daytime unless you are standing right in the window.

No we don't have a privacy fence. I don't think we will set it one up though. Depending on our finances we plan on upgrading to a better place especially if I can go to college. The houses in our area pretty much have those about thigh high fences mostly coz the neighbors are packing heat anyway so yeah.

As I am doing some late spring cleaning of the garage where i'm usually shirtless anyway. I might do it there. But the problem is I constantly take care of my lil bro so its hard for him not to see me.

I plan on doing it on a secluded field or woods part. But the place we live in usually is a hunting zone or where people practice shooting so its difficult to find a place lol. I don't want to be shot for trying to be a nudist.

I've never done it and I think it would feel awkward with just having started getting boobs and pubic hair. But if everyone else was also nude I would probably get used to it. But I couldn't do it in winter lol.

Same although I do it whenever I can like when I’m home alone and it feels so good to feel free and natural how it should be. I’ve also been skinny dipping with my freinds many times and I love it.

I’m always naked at home, been to naturist events and camping.
I’ve been sleeping naked for quite a long time and because it’s hot rn, I tend to be more naked than clothed.

As for advices, I would suggest to sleep naked and stay naked when you wake up ^^
I usually take a shower right before going to bed so I can get into it naked
