I'm circumcised. When I'm erect, rubbing my bare glans against something lubricated feels nice and it definitely doesn't feel painful or extremely sensitive, but I definitely can't bring myself to orgasm just by rubbing my glans. Rubbing it just seems ti intensify my desire to rub the shaft right behind the head, and that's the spot that beings me to orgasm.
Is this the same for uncircumcised guys? Can you rub your bare glans against something lubricated without it hurting or feeling too sensitive to do that?

I uncut. In my case I can bear to touch it even without lube but it is very sensitive. That's a change from the first time I pulled back my foreskin when it was so sensitive as to be almost painful to touch. Even though I can bear to touch it, it is not comfortable to rub it without lube. I have not tried "proper" lube on it but is feels good rubbing my pre-cum around the head so it does seem to make the difference..

As for what provides the trigger for orgasm, I don't know if this is restricted to particular parts on the penis. I have never tried to wank by touching the glans directly. When I side the foreskin back and forth over it, my thumb is positioned so it rides over the rim at the back of the head (though obviously with the the skin between) so a very similar place to what you describe. The other place that feels especially good in the frenelum - just on the bottom of the head near the tip.

The head is probably more sensitive on my (uncut) dick than your cut one because its never really touching stuff like my underwear. It does feel good to rub it against something lubricated, but after a while it can get a bit sensitive, but not like a normal painful sensation, its kinda hard to explain.

My glans is very sensitive too and I can get off by just pulling my foreskin back and forth over the glans but that also involves the very sensitive area just below the glans on the shaft. That would be the area you talked about so I would say that we uncut guys need that area on the shaft also to orgasm.

Yeah I can rub mine on something lubricated without it getting too sensitive, although I'd rather just use the foreskin since it's easier for me. I can't have an orgasm just by rubbing the glands either (well, I'm fairly certain uncut and cut guys can have an orgasm by rubbing the glands, but it would just take a really long time).

I can rub my bare glans in certain parts without it being extremely sensitive. If I wanted to continue for a long time, I could probably orgasm from just glans rubbing. But the ridge of the glans connected to the shaft is the most sensitive and pleasurable. Uncircumcised has more sensitivity though.

It has never been comfortable to touch my glands. I retracted my foreskin for the first time at 14 and got circumcised at 18.

I'm somewhere in the middle of the sensitivity scale in that area. I can touch it when erect or soft without a problem. It can be a bit uncomfortable, but not to any great degree. I haven't orgasmed just by stimulating that area, but I know of people who have. Different people have different nerve distributions in their penises, and those nerves are differently desensitized in different cases, it's all very subjective.
