Death of my relative

A few years ago I visited Fiji and I met a really old relative, my dead great grandma’s sister. My great grandma and I were pretty close. She died in 2009. Well this sister was of hers was the last of her siblings left and I made a real connection with her. Now I’m in Fiji again and I wanted to see her, but my parents said we’ll see. Today we were driving and there was a funeral. Later today I realised that was her funeral and she passed away 2 days ago. When I told my dad I had wanted to see her, he went and told everyone. I know this is trivial, but no one understands how I feel. They all think I barely knew her and don’t care, but I do. I can’t talk to anyone because they belittle my feelings...

All your feelings are completely normal in the grieving process. Give yourself permission to deal with your emotions. Let yourself cry. Let yourself be angry. Let all your emotions run their course. Don't bottle them up.
You dont have to hide it. I'm sure you're not the only one who's saddened her death. They will understand as they are all feeling the same way...you can lean on them for support.

In 2009 my mum got murded by 2 people they both got arrested and charged with murder. But for last 4 years I been very low n upset but today got told by gb I have bad depression it get me down so much

Can you try talking to other family about it? Who is the oldest person in your family who would have been close to them? Maybe if you talk to them you can learn more about her life, share memories etc...They would probably love talking to you about it as well. Just a thought!
