I was wondering if pubes change color. Mine started blonde but are now brown. I have not seen any guys over 20 with blonde or red pubes and wonder if they turn brown. I wonder when guys hair turns grey or white if the pubes change to that color also. I wonder if you can dye them.

There's a guy in gym class he's red headed and his leg hair is even red. I didn't even knew it could change color!

um I would be very cautious, even against trying to dye your pubes. a lot of that stuff is not meant for that area and can cause infections, irritations, all of that stuff.

It is possible to dye them, but don't reccomend it as it can be dangerous

I think it's quite normal for your pubes to be a different color. Yes you could dye your pubes if you wanted to. I dye my head hair but not my pubes.

You can dye your pubes but it's very risky to do since many things can go wrong like infections and stuff

Pubes tend to be darker than head hair, unless that isn't possible, because your head hair is really dark already. I always assumed this was because the sun had a chance to partially bleach your head hair but didn't get a chance to act on your pubes because they generally see little sun but in a similar thread to this one someone said it was because they (and other body hair) have more of the darker of the two hair colourings (all hair colours are made of varying proportions of a very dark brown colour and an orange colour).

As I have seen people with grey beards and that's androgenic hair (hair that only grows under the infuence of testosterone) rather than head hair I would expect that pubes would be just the same.

I imagine you could dye them but if you are intending to bleach them as part of that process you'd want to be very careful.

I am not sure why you'd want to, though, nor why so many people seem to be interesting in trimming/shaving. The showers after PE are not a fashion parade

When i frist starting getting pubes they were golden brownish but have darkened with age. I assume a similar effect may happen in redheaded people, especially since a lot of my ginger friends now have much darker hair than they had when they were little. A few redheads may keep their bright colour and so I can assume their pubes would stay the same also.
