I work at the YMCA for camps they have throughout the year. I work with 8, 9, 10, and 11 year old boys. Each day, they have to go into the locker rooms and change into their swim trunks. Since adults can’t be with them while they’re naked, and they can’t be alone, I have to go in with them and change in front of them instead of the employee changing room. So the other day, I was naked, about to put my trunks on when an 11 year old cane ip to me and started laughing. I asked why he was laughing. He said my penis was small, and his was bigger, even though he is 3 years younger than me. Then they all started laughing at me, pointing at my underdeveloped penis. What should I do? I was really embarrassed and don’t want to go through that again!

Most embarrassing moment was probably a few weeks back. An older guy was helping his son (6) get changed after swimming. Don't let them get the best of you. It's kind of a crazy rule that there can't be an adult around to supervise the boys. There have been many cases of hazing and sexual bullying in locker rooms and the school or organizations have been held responsible and punished for not having any adults supervising the kids. This said you are probably just a bit behind in your development but many kids don't really start puberty till around 13 so just hang in there and give it time and don't let anyone get the best of you. They are just being young boys. Keep trying to be their mentor.

Make something up like if they don't stop they will be punished or can't swim, get creative. If it doesn't work try to change a little before or after them if possible. Maybe change in a bathroom stall if needed

Similar thing happened to me. Three younger boys came in when I was changing to go to the pool and said look he's naked and started laughing. Also guys bring in their 4 or 5 year old sons as well as daughters who just stare at you. What I started doing is wearing a long t-shirt which covered my bathing suit and I kept it on until I put my suit on or took it off and put my underwear on. I do that if these kids are around otherwise I change in the open.

That's pretty lame of them. I should know since I was bigger than many 14 year olds as an 11 year old. I have never belittled a person bc of his size. I may have laughed on the inside but not at a person. My bff had a micro penis at age 14 and obv it didn't affect us as friends. I knew it bothered him so I never made fun of him. You probably handled it wrong in the first place. You probably should've turned your back on them when changing. If you were big or small that would've been a good idea. But especially since I bet you knew you were on the small side. And when they laughed at you, you as the older person and camp counselor should've taught them that it's not nice to make fun of people and it's not polite or apporpriate to even bring up bathing suit parts. If they continue talking about it you should teach them right from wrong. If they still act weird you may have to tell the camp director (idk how you could do that without it being awkward tho).

Our school requires a coach to be in the locker room. He makes sure we take showers and avoid horseplay or bullying.

Don't worry about it. As everyone has said we all grow at different rates. I know it can be embarrassing but just laugh it off and don't pay attention to it. We're the same age and I am sure that would happen to me in some cases. We have a lot of time to grow down there.

I simply wouldn't put myself in that situation to start with, i hate younger boys and avoid them as much as possible. I only like hanging out with boys my age (16) and older or 14/15 the youngest. below that age i avoid.

Never heard of the rule of 4. Makes perfect sense though. And not just for sexual abuse or whatever. In middle school I felt our PE teacher would always state at my junk as well as others. Had their been another teacher maybe he wouldn't had helt ok to state.
