I was on a dating site and there was a man, he's 20 years old from the uk, his profile says he's 15. I was talking to him normally when he proposed to send me a video. I stupidly said "why not?" and he fucking sent me a video of him having sex WITH A BABY AND THE BABY WAS CRYING. He told me it's an 11 year old boy, but I'm not so stupid HE WAS FUCKING CRYING. I don't want ANY trouble, and I never knew he would send me this terrible video. Should I do something about it? I'm so traumatized I'm litterally shaking right now 😭😭

This is not good especially for my mental state right now. He also asked me if I wanted to film with him, I just disconnected. HOW CAN I FORGET THIS TERRIFYING VIDEO? It's going to haunt me for my entire life 😭😭

Wow, that's crazy. First super hugs. I can not begin to apologize to you that you had to go through that. It kind hits home in certain ways. To which I wont get into here. However as the old saying goes. Be careful what you see. Somethings can scar us for lie. For you I hope this isn't one of them. I def. think/ wish i had the best advice to go through legal channels to get someone like that behind bars. But tbh I'm not too sure. As far as from now to the future. I would say try not to think about it and find peace. The more you think about it the more it will solidify in your head. And you def don't want that. I really hope this goes away for you quickly and you can be at peace again soon. Hugs again.

You have to shake it off, unfortunately, there's just bad people like that in today's world.
I was on Instagram once and someone had sent me a video of a young kid doing heinous acts with a man, and I reported the page in addition to blocking it.

It was out of the blue too, I don't screw around on Instagram and haven't touched it in a long time. But I do have friends in real life who subscribe to lewd pages so I'm assuming one thing linked to the other.

I stopped using Instagram afterwards.

A trauma needs to be worked through. Trying to forget it doesn't really help. Because we don't forget, but superimpose memories with another stuff until our consciousness has no access to it anymore.

This is called forgetting.


But just traumatic experiences can suddenly reappear through stressy constellations of any events. Even if this happens just after decades. And this video maybe the cause, of future depression and such stuff.

Mostly it's better to learn to deal with it than to forget such an experience through frequent distraction. It would be best to talk to a traumatologist about it.


But give it a time to see how you feel about it in a few days and then decide.

However, if you're a very down-to-earth guy, maybe that's not necessary either. Such things may take one or two days to bear with, but then they those folk have already overcome such an experience.



In any case, I would at least report this user to the operators of this dating site. Make it their problem.

Such people like this pedo-dude should not have any access to the internet.

Thanks everyone for all of your support. I feel so much better now, I have reported the guy. I just tried to cope with it as much as I can, it was really difficult first, but after a week I started feeling better.

Oh my god what the fuck? Where did you report him? If your government has a cyber crimes division please report him to that (just google it, there should be one), they are able to investigate it much better than your local police. I am surprised more people aren't more shocked by this!
