Kinda want to get a thong bikini. Should i get one?

I need a new bikini for summer and it would be cool to get a thong bikini. I have been looking around online for a little while and many of them look super nice and cute.
Im not sure tho if I am brave enough to wear one because they are kinda showy and some are really skimpy but it would be pretty cool to pull it off too.
What do u all think? Would it be weird to wear one this summer and what would u think if u saw someone wearing one on the beach. Would u do it?

You're right that many of them are super small (like micro small) but they have plenty others too. I prefer a smaller suit for maximum exposure and more sun. Just put yourself out there, make sure you have no way back i.e. don't carry or wear a back up plan and put those buns out there. You'll look great in them.

You can't even really do that here, but we're about 2 1/2 hours from the beach so the only places people wear swimsuits are the river or the pool. I've been skinny dipping in the river with some friends, but we're always really careful to be really hidden. As far as around town, tank tops and shorts are like the least you can get away with.

I've never seen anyone wear a thong bikini in public here, but maybe I'll be brave and give it a shot

Sounds as if I've been to the wrong places in Florida then. But we're coming back next winter :-)

That's exactly how my mom feels, she'd much rather have strangers see us naked rather than see us wearing really skimpy clothes because the clothes are intended to be sexually stimulating, while being naked is not. So ive been using my gstring bikini only to tan on the yard and its great to tan with. But i recently tried to wear it on the beach alittle and its so nice to swim in it. Im happy i finally tried it out for real. Its kinda nervous first but it feels nice to be more brave and hopefully im more comfy with it when i try it more
