PLEASE HELP
Currently I'm attending an online home-school and I'm enjoying it, the teachers are kind and the schedule is lenient. My parents on the other hand hate anything that has to do with computers or modern technology (even though if I attend a public school I'll still have to use a computer on a daily basis). I'm currently attending online school because my parents are against my siblings and I receiving any vaccinations. Yesterday they met with a woman who calls herself Dr. Murphy and she charged them over $500 for "Official" vaccine exemptions. I'm curious if this is illegal and if there is any way I can stop them from putting me back into public school.

Why wouldn't they want the vaccinations ?

They're the type of conspiracy theorists that believe vaccines cause autism and contain weaponized cancer. It's absolutely crazy.

Seems dubious to me. California doesn't have a vaccine exemption unless there is a medically defined reason. I don't agree with mandatory vaccinations on principle, but that is what the California law is.

On to alternatives. You can always look into a private school, there are plenty of those around. The only downside is price, and you would lose that independence and lenient schedule you have now. Another alternative is to look into a book curriculum for homeschooling. There are many, many different ones and you will probably find one you and your parents like. The only downside there is that it will require a decent bit of work by your parents, which they may not want.

Looks like it's up to you and your siblings to educate your parents about the dangers of not being vaccinated.

I don't know about the legality of doing this. It's about the most stupid thing I have ever heard of. What are your family of a faith or people like Amish? People that don't believe in technology and live like those in the 1800's. Not protecting you from diseases that there are vaccinations for is just plain ludicrous. They are putting your lives on the line here. Do they expect you to live in a protective bubble your whole life? My God the biggest thing I have against home schooling is that you loose out on social skills and interacting in person with real people. It's a big bad world out here and you need to learn and know what to look out for in life. My parents didn't allow us to have gaming systems or cellphones and that really doesn't bother me. I was also supervised on line on the computer till I was 15. These things never bothered me. I read a lot and played computer games. I love card games. Anyway I think that you should contact social services and tell them what your parents are doing to you and your fears and concerns on how you are being kept away from the real world and natural defenses against diseases.

I've never heard of that. No, to my knowledge it is not legal.
