When are you to old ?

After I shower or take a bath I usually just put on my underwear and socks.i done this ever since I could dress my self. I mostly hang in my room. It's only me and dad right now at home. Lately dad keeps saying I'm getting to old to be walking thru the house like this.
In your opinion what's to old. ??

Not really an age thing honestly. Walking around in your underwear when it's just you and one other person: people of all ages do that. More like just an issue of preference, and if your father prefers you not to walk around like that, then just respect his wishes and stop.

Honestly, it is one of those things where it is up to the individual. me personally, I don't care at all. I can see why some think there should be more modesty as one gets older, but I don't think underwear is a big deal at all.

As has been said, if it's just you in your own bedroom then you should be able to hang out in just your underwear if you want. I know that's how it is for me most of the time. In terms of being around the rest of the house, perhaps maybe consider pulling on a pair of shorts if there are other people present, even if just your dad. Generally it's more "okay" I think when you're younger but there is a certain level of expected modesty once you get older. If you were living on your own then for sure do anything you want. But in this case, if I were you I'd just respect your dad's wishes.

I'm not arguing with him at all. I started wearing shorts but sometimes I'll run get a Coke in my briefs.

I mean I can see the argument. But, I'd never walk around my house in just boxers around my family. To me it's weird I guess; but, if you're by yourself, I get it.

My brother and I don't typically hang out in our underwear outside of our room, but it's not unusual for us to be just in our underwear if we're coming out of the bathroom after a shower or if we come out of our room for something. We might watch TV in our underwear, but that's mostly when our parents are out or if we're watching in our own little TV room next to our bedroom. We've sometimes, but not often, sat eating breakfast with our parents in our underwear and t-shirts. They've never made a big deal of it, but I think they do prefer we have shorts or sweatpants on, mostly in case someone drops by. Maybe your dad is trying to prepare you for when you're living with your new family?

imo never. I am very very open to nudity. Only real people I am not open with is my parents (mom more than dad). And that's only bc of how they raised me to not show my private parts. But even they will let me walk around 24/7 in boxers (that sometimes me dick will fall out of the opening) and run from my room to the bathroom naked.

Looking at it in your dad's shoes tho, I bet what he means by you being "too old" is either one of two dates. Either the onset of puberty or the point of puberty when you nearly look and act like a man (so shaving your face, going on real dates, having a job (even if it's just mowing lawns), etc.

My parents are easy going about me and my brother walking around the house in our underwear. It's ok to go to the kitchen or get something. We usually have a pair of shorts or a robe on. Sometimes we take our clothes off in the laundry room and walk to the shower in our underwear. I guess your Dad decided to change the rules. At least you can do whatever you want in your room. I don't think were never too old to walk around in our underwear. My Dad does it.

Once I started developing, my mom told me I needed to cover up a little more when walking around the house...I used to just walk around the house in my panties and a thin cami or tank top. Now I'll put on a pair of shorts or PJ bottoms and a t-shirt. It's weird though because my older brother walks around in his boxer briefs and shirtless and you can definitely see his bulge. Besides, we're allowed to skinny dip and I tan topless by the pool all the time. Mom says, "there's a time and place for everything" so I respect my parent's wishes.

Everyone is different and views things differently. I think there is a big difference for a dad when his son is little. And when he becomes a man. That's the best way I can explain it. Like its not about age. Its about body maturity and innocence. Personally. My house is weird. Like my bro and I must have at least pants on. But my dad 9 times out of ten is a full on scary nudist sometimes. Like for me I just want to say would put a pair of shorts on or something. But its not my house. If it was and I lived along. Id probably be like my dad to be honest. LOL

There’s no standard on ‘too old’. It’s up to you. I’m a nudist at home and i live with my mum so we don’t mind at all about nudity. Even when i go to my dad’s place they don’t mind. It’s up to you and your family.

It doesn't depend on a specific age. It depends on the views of the people. Some people want others to completely cover up at all times, and others really couldn't care less if you walk around naked all the time.

In general I think that everyone should just do what they want to do. However, I do think there are 2 exceptions to this:
1) when you get visitors who might not appreciate you in a state of undress
2) when your parents (if you still live with them) tell you to cover up

I always have listened to my dad so if he makes a rule like this I will do it, but I always wear at least shorts (like gym shorts type things) when I go out of my room. In my room we usually just hang in our underwear.
