Sensation-wise it is not really different from peeing while soft. You can still feel liquid moving along your urethra, the tube that leads from your bladder though the inside of your penis and up to to the tip.

That sensation is also part of ejaculating though when ejaculating* it happens in spurts rather than a continous flow. This sensation of liquid moving is slighly pleasant but quite subtle while ejaculating normally happens at the same time as orgasm and that's the really intense feeling.

Well you can never let it all out whilst hard and aiming is a struggle because your member just won;t cooperate and move as easily as when it is soft. The reason you struggle to pee when hard is that the tube connecting the bladder to the urethra is closed and the tube connecting the testes to the urethra is open. To then pee, the body has to fight that to let the urine out.

You should. As well as being a solution to it being hard to aim with a boner, there was a campaign to get people to pee in the shower (when they were going to shower anyway) instead of the toilet because it saved water, i.e. the water needed to flush the toilet.
