Lying about circumcision status

Have you or a friend ever lies about being circumcised? One friend of mine always said he was uncut, then one day we were peeing and I happened to notice that he was actually circumcised. Anyone else?

I certainly never lied about being circumcised and I don't know anyone who has ever lied about it. I am not sure why it is something you would lie about.

Not sure why he would lie about that. Like one of the guys has already said maybe he did not understand what you meant or, maybe he thought you would make fun of him for having it done or, maybe he just wanted to be the same as you and fit in with the crowd.

Maybe he did not lye. Maybe he is uncut. Most or some guys get stiff when they pee, maybe his foreskin pulled over his glans, I take your cut, if you looked that close at his.

I am uncut and would never lie about it. What's the point. It is possible that your friend had his foreskin totally retracted to pee. Some guys do that. Why don't you ask him to compare sometime?

He may have not been lying but rather confused on what it is. I found out about what circumcision was through the internet because sex-ed didn't even bother to explain what it was. I don't know why but for some reason I got confused on what circumcision was and thought I was circumcised for the longest time, but it turns out I actually wasn't.

He probably didn't know the difference. He didn't try to hide it, just walked next to me outside, pulled it out and peed. Was just surprising seeing that he was circumcised after being adamant he wasn't..

When younger, around 11-13 I would lie to people because of the bullying it would induce (in the UK it's still fairly uncommon to be cut) but I don't anymore

I have never felt the need to lie about it but then I'm uncut and most of the guys where I live are too so that puts me in the majority. I hope I will would not feel the need to lie if I was in the minority though obviously you have to be in the situation to be completely sure.

I do think it is really important, whatever your views on circumcision, to not make other people feel awkward because of their status. There is much too much pressure to conform and not nearly enough acceptance of diversity.

A lot of circumcised people end up “lying” about being uncircumcised because they don’t fully understand what circumcision is, and have never seen what a natural penis looks like. So then they just assume they weren’t circumcised because being circumcised is the only thing they’ve ever seen.

It's uncommon here and some boys have made fun of us cut boys so some guys just lied when they were in their early teens. No more reason when you are older.
