Ok, this may sound somewhat dumb, however, here it goes. Is it a guarantee that someone will contact an STD (in this case HIV/AIDS) from having anal sex? I mean this in the sense that, say you have sex today, tomorrow, and next week, but don't catch anything, if you continue to do it, is it a guarantee that you will eventually contract a STD?
And yes, despite using a condom.

I'm not 100% sure but I would imagine that whether you catch an STD or not depends greatly on 2 factors.
1. Whether you have anal sex with partners that have STDs
2. Using a condom
I guess that using a condom would make it far less likely even if you do have sex with infected people that you will contract an STD. Still a possibility even if you used a condom every time but far less likely.
Also if you were lucky/careful enough never to sleep with anyone who was infected (by making sure all your sexual partners got tested before you had anal/ oral or vaginal sex with them then it would significantly reduce or even eradicate your chances of getting at STD.
So inevitable, I think not unless you were not very careful with your partners and did not use a condom!

Exactly.
If your partner has an STD, and you don't use protection, you will.
If your partner doesn't have an STD and you don't use protection, you potentially could be the one in a million that catch it somewhere weird- depending on what it is, however STDs have to come from SOMEWHERE.
If you use protection, things will most likely be ok- just remember that using it consistently and effectively is the key here.

It's not guaranteed, but there is a chance. It really depends on two factors, whether or not your partner has an STI and whether or not you use protection.
If your partner doesn't have an STI, you won't catch anything from them, no matter how many times you have sex. However, you can't really be sure that they don't have an STI. If they have been tested recently, the chances of them having an STI are low, though no test is perfectly accurate.
If your partner has an STI, you can catch it, but you aren't guaranteed to. The transmission rate varies significantly depending on the STI. The risk of HIV transmission from a single act of unprotected anal sex is actually quite low, only a few percent. However, that is still a huge risk to take when dealing with an STI like HIV. Using a condom dramatically reduces the risk of HIV transmission.

Um.if your partner has an std and I guess it'll eventually happen, kinda is the reason how gay males in 80s and 90s got AIDs and such
