Feelings

First off, id like to say that i know its much more difficult trying to understand a girls feelings over text. But is there anyone who can help?

I want to get closer with this girl called lauren as you can see from my last post. She last had a boyfriend in Year 6, (the shitty relationships which seem like everything but are nothing more than a bit of class banta)

Lauren said yesterday that she takes a long time to recognise feelings for a guy. This is fair enough considering never having a proper relationship. I am not sure how to progress further than friends. I told her I would not rush into getting closer with her until she is ready.
But I am not sure she wants to talk to me at all. The day before she was very talkative but now im the one asking all the questions. Could be she's having a bad day, busy etc.

I cannot just ask her if she wants to talk to me at all as that will come across as desperate.
I honestly have no clue what her thoughts are, when i ask her she just says "Its fine, you havent done anything!"
Any pointers?

I agree. Give it some time, don’t force it. Space is the best thing sometimes, and after some time goes by you can always make another decision.
