My dad is talking to me about marring the lady he's dating. She has a son that of course will be my new brother.
I'm not 100% sure I like the idea . I know it's not my decision and I'm not gonna make it an issue.
1)Have any of you guys have step Brothers?
2)How do you get along?
3) Do you have to share a room?
4) any pros or cons you can think of ?

Well that’s awesome for your dad man!!!
As far as a step bro no, but I’ve been and had foster brothers. The foster who lived with me we got along really well. We didnt share a room but...yeah we did lol!!
Pros are you have someone (maybe your age maybe not) same age. In my case I was the older
See the thing I said that it’s about a big change in your family. And there’s gonna be stuff you don’t like and stuff you do like.
And it’s gonna be hard for him in the same ways
So just be open to whatever, and see where it goes
Could end up being best bro’s, but if you come off as a hard ass, everyone losses

I can only comment on sharing a room all my life if that helps.
So I have always shared one with my twin sister and we never had any problems we couldn't handle. I guess age is a huge factor there for you, will he be older or younger than you?
I really like sharing a room and always having a friend around is great in my case. If you don't get along you could annoy each other a lot though. And you'll have to be fine with changing in front of each other.

I live with a foster family and I have a foster-brother (the familiy's bio son). I was used to being around other boys in other foster homes, but this was new for him. We share a room and now neither of us could imagine not being brothers or being together. He's a couple of years younger than me and he loves having an older brother and I love having him as a younger brother. We've gotten to be very close over the last 2 years. From my experience I haven't had any cons.
