At my house it's just me and my dad.
He has a lady that's comes it 2 days and does the laundry and major cleaning.
I still have a lot of chores to do before and after school.
I take out the garage, sweep, clean my bathroom and mow our yard.
What do you all have to do at home?

LOL-Clean the snow-A lot of it. Drive my
quad into the woods and gather wood for
our wood stove and fireplace. Mow the
grass in the summer(get a nice tan and
stay buff). Put the garbage and all the
recyclables out. Clean my room-sweep
dust. I get a workout.

In our house, there aren't a lot of assigned chores. But there's regular stream of things that my parents will tell us to do, kinda on the spot. Like my dad will tell us not to make any plans for Saturday since we have a lot to do in the yard. Or whatever. Yesterday and today, I felt bad for my little brother since he had to do all the shoveling of snow by himself since I had knee surgery a little bit ago. Otherwise, I would have been out there.

"take out the garage."
Dude, where do you have to take it. Just joking, hope you don't mind.

My parents usually have me mow the lawn, and other house work that I do with my dad. It's no big deal really.

I don't live at home. Got my own flat, sort of. Surprisingly, I do almost everything I did at home ... chores and stuff.

I do most of the yard work including the snow in the winter. Put the trash out and recycling, and help with cooking and meal cleannup. But we all do that so...
We all pretty much all pick up after ourselves so the house isn’t really that bad. But I need to keep my room clean, do my own laundry, and clean my bathroom. I also help Dad with repairs to the house and the apartment downstairs. And Mom does most of the other house cleaning chores. And stacking firewood in the fall when it gets delivered. Usually about 7-8 cord. But we all do that to

You have way more responsibility than I ever dreamed of having.

Actually it's not all that hard, after Zayden goes to bed I shower and do my homework and go to bed myself. Once you get into a daily routine its not hard.

At my mums house, I generally just clean my own room, sort out my own laundry from the pile of clean clothes and take out the trash sometimes. I don’t really eat dinner at home anymore but sometimes I would cook for myself.

At my dads house, I have more chores. I clean my room, my bathroom and the landing connecting the first floor together. I also have the job of setting out the table for each of our meals and cleaning it away after we’ve eaten. I mostly sort out my own laundry from the washing machine but from time to time it can involve everyone’s clothes. Sometimes I have to feed our cats but only if my dad asks me to do it, as with other little chores like emptying bins.

And I thought I had it bad until I read some of y'all jobs. Wow you have way to much to do.

Honestly, it doesn’t feel like anything at all since the list of chores have built up gradually over the last 5 years or so. Since I’m not at my dads very often (like 2 days a week) the chores aren’t done all the time. Like, my responsibility is to keep my room and bathroom tidy and then a big clean is done every other weekend when I’m there. A lot of the time I’m not there when laundry is done so it’s just more common for me to hang it out to dry in the summer, etc. :)

I suppose it doesn’t really help that I’m the only child at my dads house, it’s just me my dad and my stepmum so the chores are allocated very well in my favour. I just feel lucky that I don’t have to do any cooking and extra cleaning :P

Its just me and my mom now, so we share a lot of the chores around the house, I dont have any set chores I have to do because I work, too so I pitch in where needed. For example, I clean all the bathrooms, take out the trash, dust the house, help with cooking, and keep the car clean.
