I just wanted to ask, as my school uses very bad web filtering systems.
So Virtual Teen Forums is not blocked, and many other forum sites are not blocked either. Almost all social media websites with the exception of YouTube is blocked. But I found out that for some reason, Facebook isn’t blocked. YouTube has restricted mode on, however I found a way to bypass it by removing a specific cookie folder. My classmate who is kinda adventurous, found a porn site that isn’t blocked. However Puberty101.com is blocked for the reason “Health” (Not very sure of reason, however I am guessing they don’t want students looking at articles about private part, but for this reason I don’t know why VT isn’t blocked however).
Many websites related to computer coding and software are blocked for the reason “Network Misuse”. I am not really sure what network misuse is considered, however an educational site, Code.org was blocked until the network administrator whitelisted it. I secretly think that may be attempting to stop students from learning about how to bypass web filtering, however I found a way and it is incredibly easy to bypass.

Oh yes I forgot about that. Sometimes google.com is blocked for the reason "Blacklist", well I don't really know what is on the blacklist. Well, almost every student knows how to bypass it as it is just terrible.

More and more schools are investing in “Cloud” web filters (including Florida and almost all other states.) that if one picks up on a site that’s “new” or “allowed” the network admins that use the same product can react. That’s how more and more schools are blocking VPN services.

At the high school I went to in 9th grade, Facebook was banned but Twitter & Tumblr wasn't. I always thought that was insane.

Youtube used to be blocked in school, but it isn't now.
By the way, if you were at my school and you tried to get past the filters, a senior teacher of some sort will hunt you down and give you a right telling off...

My school's web filtering system only records your IP address, and everyone in the school has the same IP address, so they can't identify who it is.

In Utah they're pretty strict about it, seemingly especially in my school district

My school blocks nothing, but that's mostly because wifi is not available to students so we have to rely on data.

My school doesn't block that much stuff! We can go on crazygames and coolmathgames, but Roblox is blocked for some reason. They seem to block things that our school specifically goes on, such as Roblox, and one kid from our class went onto Discord, and then it was blocked the next time we went on. It was kinda weird, but it sounds like yours is much worse.

Mostly porn sites and you tube unless you have your own phone with data.

Practically no sites, even virtual teen, but I advise that if you are at school use a VPN.

As far as I know, nothing is blocked, or at least I've never received a blocked site message or something like that.

Its easy to get around blocks, just put opera portable version on a usb stick and turn on the free vpn function. It will route all of your requests through an encrypted tunnel and prevent your school from blocking outbound requests.

.io games like agar.io are blocked, and so are porn sites
i'll just use a vpn to get around if i have to but it isn't that regularly that happens

Porn sites, which shouldn't come as a surprise. xD And YouTube. I can actually see why, it would be distracting and disturb a lot if people kept watching videos. I don't need to see a video so badly that I can't wait until I get home.

Just found out that knowyourmeme.com is not blocked (somehow). But now the school blocks websites through the school internet, so it is much harder to bypass now.
